The Experience

Calm, Unhurried, Genuinely You

I'm Elena — the eye behind Marigold & Vine. For eleven years I've had the privilege of documenting love stories across the Lowcountry and around the world, and I still tear up at every first look.

My approach is quiet and unobtrusive. I won't bark poses or stage your day — I'll guide you gently when you need it and disappear when you don't, so what you're left with is honest: the way he looked at you, the way your grandmother laughed, the golden light over the marsh. Timeless, never trendy.

  • Calm, unobtrusive, candid-first approach
  • Eleven years and 300+ weddings of experience
  • Fine-art editing that stays timeless

How It Works

From Hello to Heirloom

Booking your wedding photography should feel as calm as the day itself. Here's how we'll work together.

1

Inquire & Connect

Send me your date and a little about your plans. We'll hop on a call to make sure we're the right fit — no pressure, ever.

2

Reserve Your Date

A signed agreement and retainer hold your date. Then we'll dream up your engagement session and timeline together.

3

Your Wedding Day

I arrive early, stay calm, and capture everything — while you stay completely present for the day you've planned.

4

Relive It Forever

Within weeks you'll receive your full fine-art gallery, then we'll design the album you'll hand down for generations.

Engagements & Elopements

More Than the Wedding Day

Your story doesn't begin and end at the altar. An engagement session is the perfect way to celebrate this chapter — and to get completely comfortable with me before the wedding, so the camera feels like a friend rather than a stranger.

Dreaming of something smaller? Charleston's beaches, marshes, and historic streets make for breathtaking elopements and micro-weddings. However you choose to say 'I do,' I'll make sure it's remembered exactly as it felt.

  • Relaxed engagement sessions across the Lowcountry
  • Intimate elopement & micro-wedding coverage
  • Local knowledge of Charleston's best light & locations
  • A friend behind the lens, never a stranger

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does wedding photography cost?

Collections begin at $3,800 and are tailored to your day — coverage hours, second photographer, engagement session, and albums all adjust the total. Inquire for the full pricing guide and to check your date.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely — I photograph weddings worldwide. Travel beyond the Charleston area is simply added to your collection at cost. Wherever you're celebrating, I'd love to be there.

What's your photography style?

Candid-first and fine-art. I document the day as it unfolds — real moments and emotion — with gentle guidance where it helps, and editing that stays timeless rather than following trends.

How long until we get our photos?

You'll receive a few sneak peeks within a week, and your full gallery within four to six weeks. Albums are designed collaboratively after your gallery is delivered.

Do we get the high-resolution files?

Yes — every collection includes your full set of edited, high-resolution images with a print release, delivered in a beautiful online gallery you can share and download.

What happens if you're sick on our day?

In eleven years it's never happened, but you're fully protected. I have a trusted network of professional associate photographers and will ensure your day is covered to the same standard, no matter what.
