Epoxy Garage Floors in Boise, ID
A showroom floor in a single day — flake and metallic epoxy and polyaspartic coatings that shrug off hot tires, oil, and Idaho winters, backed by a lifetime warranty.
A Floor That Looks Great and Takes Abuse
Most garage-floor coatings fail because of one thing: prep. Ours last because we do it right.
Installed in One Day
Diamond-grind, repair, and coat in a single day with fast-curing systems — park on it in as little as 24 hours.
Diamond-Ground Prep
We mechanically grind the concrete for a real bond — not a quick acid-etch that lets the coating peel later.
Flake & Metallic Finishes
Custom flake blends and stunning metallic finishes, so your floor looks like a showroom, not a paint job.
Hot-Tire & UV Proof
No hot-tire pickup, no yellowing. Polyaspartic topcoats hold up to summer heat and won't fade or lift.
Oil & Stain Resistant
A seamless, non-porous surface that shrugs off oil, chemicals, and salt, and wipes clean in seconds.
Lifetime Warranty
Every residential floor is backed by a lifetime adhesion warranty. We stand behind the bond, for good.
Floor Coating Services
Garages, patios, basements, and commercial floors — coated to look great and last.

Boise's Garage Floor Specialists
Most garage-floor coatings fail for the same reason: bad prep. The big-box kits and the cut-rate installers acid-etch the concrete, which barely opens the surface, and within a couple of years the coating is peeling, bubbling, and picking up under hot tires. It looks great for a season and then it's a mess. Slabworks was built to do it the right way, the first time.
For ten years we've coated garage floors across Boise and the Treasure Valley, and our whole process starts with diamond grinding — mechanically profiling the concrete so the coating bonds to it permanently. We repair cracks and pits, apply premium epoxy and polyaspartic systems, broadcast your custom flake or metallic finish, and seal it with a fast-curing topcoat that resists UV, hot tires, oil, and salt. Most floors are done in a single day, you park on them in about 24 hours, and they're backed by a lifetime adhesion warranty. The result is a floor that looks like a showroom and actually lasts — because the bond underneath is real.

Why Ours Doesn't Peel
The three reasons our floors outlast the kits and the acid-etch installers.
We Grind, We Don't Etch
Diamond grinding creates a real mechanical bond. Acid-etching — what most kits and cheap installers use — barely does.
The Right System
Premium epoxy and polyaspartic, matched to your use and our climate, applied at the correct thickness for durability.
Backed for Life
A lifetime adhesion warranty. If our floor ever delaminates, we make it right — because we know the bond is real.

A Garage Floor for the Long Haul
A garage floor takes more abuse than almost any surface in your home: the crushing weight and heat of parked tires, dripped oil and chemicals, dropped tools, road salt tracked in all winter, and the constant scrape of daily use. A coating that can't handle all of that isn't worth applying — which is why the cheap options peel, pick up under hot tires, and stain within a year or two.
Ours are engineered for the long haul. The diamond-ground bond means the coating is fused to the concrete, not sitting on top of it. The polyaspartic topcoat resists UV so it won't yellow, handles hot-tire pickup, and shrugs off oil, salt, and chemicals with a seamless, non-porous surface that cleans up with a quick sweep or hose. Add a custom flake or metallic finish and you get a floor that's as tough as it is good-looking, ready for whatever your garage throws at it. Backed by a lifetime warranty, it's the last garage floor you'll need.
- ✓Fused, diamond-ground bond
- ✓UV-stable, no hot-tire pickup
- ✓Oil, salt, and chemical resistant
- ✓Lifetime warranty on every floor

Garage Floor Coating FAQ
Why grind instead of acid-etch?
Because grinding is the difference between a coating that lasts decades and one that peels in a year or two. Diamond grinding mechanically profiles the concrete, opening the surface so the coating forms a true, permanent bond. Acid-etching — what most DIY kits and budget installers rely on — only lightly opens the surface and often leaves residue, which is the number one reason garage coatings fail, bubble, and pick up under hot tires. We always grind. It's more work and more equipment, and it's exactly why our floors hold.
What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Both are excellent when installed right. Epoxy is the classic high-build garage coating — durable, seamless, and cost-effective. Polyaspartic is a newer premium technology that cures much faster (enabling one-day installs), resists UV so it won't yellow, and handles hot-tire pickup exceptionally well. Many of our floors use an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat to get the best of both. We'll recommend the right system for your garage, your use, and your budget at the quote.
Can you really install in one day?
Yes — with polyaspartic systems, a typical residential garage is ground, repaired, coated, and flaked in a single day. The fast cure means you can walk on it that evening and park on it in about 24 hours. Larger, heavily damaged, or commercial floors may take longer, and concrete with moisture issues needs extra steps, but for most Boise garages, one day is the standard. We'll confirm the exact timeline for your floor at the quote.
Will it handle hot tires and Idaho winters?
Absolutely — that's what it's built for. Cheap coatings suffer 'hot-tire pickup,' where hot tires literally lift the coating off the floor. Our properly ground and top-coated systems don't, and the polyaspartic topcoat is UV-stable so it won't yellow in summer heat. In winter, the seamless, non-porous surface shrugs off road salt and de-icer and wipes clean, protecting the concrete underneath. It's engineered specifically for the range of conditions a Treasure Valley garage sees year-round.
Can I choose the color and finish?
Definitely — the finish is half the fun. We offer a wide range of custom flake blends in different colors and sizes, so you can match your garage, your style, or your gym or shop aesthetic. We also do dramatic metallic finishes that create depth and movement for a truly high-end look. We'll show you samples and help you choose a finish you'll love, and because we mix and broadcast the flake on-site, your floor is genuinely custom to you.
