Weeknight Private Chef in Austin, TX
Tonight's groceries, your stove, dinner served at 6:30 and the dishes done before the chef heads home.
Pick Your Dinners
Every plan starts with one trial dinner, so you taste the cooking before you pick your nights.

Dinner at 6:30, Kitchen Clean by 8
Sutterfield cooks for a short list of Austin households, two or three evenings each. On a cook night the chef walks in with that afternoon's shopping, makes the dinner you picked from Sunday's menu and serves it straight off the stove. Plates go in the dishwasher, counters get wiped and anything left over is boxed with a label.

What a Cook Night Looks Like
Groceries in the door
Tonight's shopping, straight from the store; you pay the receipt total and nothing more.
Cooking starts
Your stove, your oven and your pans. No containers, no warming trays.
On the table
Plated at the table or set out on the island, whichever you prefer on a weeknight.
Out the door
Dishwasher running, stove top clear and tomorrow's lunch in the fridge if you added it.

Plates or Platters
Some nights call for plates at the table. Others call for a platter on the island and everyone helping themselves. Say which when you pick the night's dinner, and change your mind as often as you like.

Weeknight Dinner FAQs
Is this the same as meal prep?
No. Meal prep is a week of food cooked in one session and stored. This is dinner cooked on the night and served hot, two or three times a week.
How are groceries paid for?
You pay what the groceries cost, receipt attached, separately from the cooking fee. The chef shops the afternoon of each dinner.
Can we skip a week?
Yes. Tell us by the Sunday before and that week's nights come off the calendar.
Do you work around allergies?
Yes. Name each one when you get in touch and say how serious it is. The chef cooks with your pans on your counters, so mention shared surfaces too.
Can we change our nights?
Yes, with a week's notice. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the first to fill, so move early if you want one.
Which neighborhoods do you cook in?
Central and west Austin: Tarrytown, Clarksville, Travis Heights, Zilker, Mueller and Westlake. Ask about others.
Which Nights Work for You?
Expect a call back the next weekday, so have your calendar handy.
