Termite Fumigation in Los Angeles
Drywood termites live deep in the wood where sprays can't follow. One tented treatment reaches every gallery in the structure — and our clearance record is spotless across 18 years.
When Termites Live in the Bones, You Treat the Whole Skeleton
Drywood termites don't need soil contact — they colonize attic beams, wall studs, and furniture, in colonies no spot treatment can fully map.
Reaches Every Gallery
The fumigant penetrates every board in the structure — including colonies no inspection can see.
One Treatment, Not a Campaign
Tenting ends every drywood colony at once. No whack-a-mole, no repeat spot visits for years.
Nothing Left Behind
The gas dissipates completely at aeration — no residue on surfaces, dishes, or clothes.
The Certificate That Closes Deals
Escrow-ready clearance documentation, issued the day your structure passes re-entry testing.

Do You Actually Need to Tent? Sometimes No.
Tenting is the right call for widespread drywood infestations — and overkill for a single infested beam. Our inspections map the evidence honestly: about a third of the homes we assess get localized no-tent treatment instead, at a fraction of the cost. When we do recommend fumigation, you'll see exactly why — frass piles, kick-out holes, and gallery evidence documented room by room. Eighteen years in LA has taught us the fastest way to keep a reputation: never sell a tent a house doesn't need.
- ✓Evidence documented room by room

Everything Around the Tent, Handled
From the first inspection to the certificate on the door.
The Weekend Your House Gets Tented
What actually happens between locking your door and coming home.
Friday: Tent Day
Bag-and-prep in the morning (or our crew does it), gas and water noted, pets and plants out, tent sealed by afternoon.
Saturday: The Dose Works
Fumigant concentration is monitored to spec while the gas penetrates every timber. You're at the beach.
Sunday: Aeration
Tent comes off, structure ventilates under supervision, and certified meters verify the air to re-entry standard.
Sunday Evening: Home
Clearance posted on the door, certificate filed, and every drywood colony in the structure is finished.
Fumigation, Demystified
How much does termite fumigation cost in Los Angeles?
Pricing is by structure size (cubic footage), quoted flat and in writing after inspection. A typical LA single-family home falls in a predictable band; escrow timelines don't change the price. Localized treatments — when appropriate — cost far less, and we'll tell you when they're the right call.
What do I have to bag or remove?
Food, medications, and anything consumable goes in Nylofume bags (or leaves the house); plants and pets come with you. Everything else — furniture, clothes, electronics, dishes — stays put and is unaffected. Our prep crew can do the bagging for you the morning of.
How long will we be out of the house?
Two nights, typically Friday to Sunday evening. The legal re-entry standard is verified with calibrated meters before the clearance goes on your door — you never guess.
Is the gas safe? What about residue?
The fumigant is a gas, not a spray — it penetrates, does its work, and dissipates entirely during supervised aeration. There's no residue on surfaces, no washing dishes afterward, and re-entry only happens after instrument-verified clearance.
What about my garden and the neighbors?
The tent seals the structure, not the yard — landscaping directly against walls gets watered as protection, and we notify adjacent neighbors as a courtesy (and per regulation where required).
How long does the treatment last?
Fumigation kills every drywood colony present but doesn't prevent new ones landing years later — that's true of every company's tent. Ours comes with a 3-year structural warranty and optional annual inspections that keep the certificate current.
Tented, Cleared, Closed
Two companies said tent immediately. Fullhouse inspected, showed me the infestation was isolated to one garage beam, and did a localized treatment for a fraction of the cost. Three years later, still clear. When they DO say tent, believe them.
Escrow closed in nine days and the Section 1 called for fumigation. Fullhouse tented Friday, cleared Monday, certificate to escrow by noon. Our TC keeps their number on a sticky note now.
The prep list terrified me until their bagging crew did the whole kitchen in ninety minutes. Hotel Friday and Saturday, home Sunday night with the clearance posted on the door. Painless — genuinely.
