How much does a cat sitter cost in Brooklyn?
Cat sitters in Brooklyn usually charge $22–$40 for a drop-in visit and $90–$140 for an overnight. Ours is $26 for a drop-in, $36 for a long visit and $110 for an overnight, for up to two cats.
How many visits a day does my cat need?
Most healthy adult cats are fine with one long visit a day. Kittens, seniors and cats on medication usually need two.
Do you look after dogs too?
No. We're cats only, which is why nervous cats tend to warm to us.
What if my cat hides the whole time?
Plenty do at first. We still check food, water and litter, look for them without chasing, and send you a photo of their hiding spot so you know they're fine.
Are you insured?
Yes — bonded and insured, and every sitter is certified in cat first aid and CPR. Ask and we'll email the certificate.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks for most trips, and by October for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
