Jollyfern opened in a converted Fishtown warehouse with one idea: dogs are happiest in a group that suits them. We sort every dog into small, medium or large play groups by size and energy, keep one handler for every twelve dogs, and give the whole room a quiet nap after lunch. The turfed outdoor yard is shaded, rinsed daily and open whenever the weather is kind.

What Your Dog's Day Looks Like
7–9am: Drop-off and settle in
Sniff, greet and join their play group.
9am–noon: Group play and yard time
Fetch, chase, tug and the outdoor yard.
Noon–2pm: Lunch and nap
Lights down, soft music, cots for everyone.
2–5pm: Afternoon play and enrichment
Games, puzzle feeders, bubbles in summer.
5–7pm: Wind down and pickup
Calm play, a towel-off and the report card.

How much does doggy daycare cost in Philadelphia?
Doggy daycare in Philadelphia usually runs $30–$50 a day. Ours is $38 for a full day and $26 for a half day, or $34 a day on a 10-day pack.
Is there a discount for more than one dog?
Yes — a second dog from the same home is 15% off any package.
How do you keep play safe?
Three play groups by size and energy, one handler per twelve dogs, and a staff member trained in pet first aid on the floor all day.
What if my dog doesn't like group play?
Some dogs don't, and that's fine. We'll tell you honestly after the trial day and suggest a better fit.
Do you have pickup and drop-off?
Yes, door-to-door in Fishtown, Northern Liberties and Kensington for $12 each way.
Are you open on weekends?
No — Jollyfern is a weekday daycare, Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm.
