We opened Sudwick after one too many muddy spring walks ended with a wrecked bathroom, a clogged drain and a sore back. So we built the wash we wanted: waist-high tubs you don't kneel beside, water that's always warm, dryers that don't terrify, and a team that cleans everything the second you leave. Want to skip the wet part entirely? Our bathers will do the whole thing for you.

Road Salt Is Hard On Paws
From November to March, Minneapolis sidewalks are salted, slushy and hard on a dog's feet. Salt dries and cracks paw pads, and dogs lick it off at home. Our salt paw rinse takes five minutes: warm water, a towel dry between the toes and a coat of balm. Drop in on the way home from your walk.

Before You Come In
How much does a self-serve dog wash cost in Minneapolis?
Self-serve dog washes in the area usually cost $15–$30 per wash. Ours is $22 for thirty minutes with everything included, or $18 a wash on a ten-wash card.
Do I need an appointment?
Not for self-serve — just walk in. Full-service baths, de-shed baths and puppy baths are booked so a bather is ready for you.
What should I bring?
Just your dog on a leash. Shampoo, conditioner, towels, brushes, an apron and a dryer are all included.
Can I wash two dogs?
Yes, in separate tubs. The second dog's wash is half price when you come together.
Is it OK for nervous dogs?
Usually. Come at a quiet time — weekday mornings — and ask staff to set you up in the end tub, away from the door.
Do you groom or cut hair?
No haircuts — we're a wash, not a salon. For cuts we're happy to recommend a groomer nearby.
