Plumwick is our family home in Clintonville: a 1920s house with a big porch, dog-proofed rooms and a half-acre fenced backyard. We take no more than three guest dogs at a time, usually from one or two families, so every dog gets real attention, a real bed and the same routine they have at home. Our own senior lab is the welcoming committee.

Common Questions
How much does in-home dog boarding cost in Columbus?
In-home dog boarding in Columbus usually runs $45–$75 a night. Ours is $55 a night, or $65 for puppies and seniors, with medication included.
Where will my dog sleep?
Inside the house — on a dog bed in our bedroom or living room, or on the couch if that's what they do at home. Never in a crate unless you ask us to.
Will my dog ever be left alone?
Rarely, and never for more than three hours. One of us works from home, so someone is here almost all day.
Do you take more than one dog from the same family?
Yes — siblings stay together, and the second dog is $45 a night.
What if my dog gets sick?
We call you first, then your vet. Our own vet is ten minutes away in Clintonville if yours is closed.
Is there a minimum stay?
Two nights over holidays; otherwise no minimum.
