Here When It Gets Cold

In Spokane, a hot tub earns its keep in the coldest months, and that's exactly when it tends to fail. Tulley only works on hot tubs and spas, so our vans carry the heaters, sensors, pumps and seals that fail most often. Most repairs are done on the first visit. When a part has to be ordered, we leave the tub safe and covered and come back the day it arrives.

A Fall Check-Up Pays For Itself

Most of our emergency calls come in the first hard freeze. A fall visit catches a weak heater, a tired pump or a cracked fitting while it's still a small job, and we'll make sure the cover still seals and the tub is set up for winter. Not using the tub this winter? We can winterize it properly so the lines don't freeze.

  • ✓Heater and pump tested
  • ✓Cover and lifter checked
  • ✓Winterizing for unused tubs

Warning Signs

When To Call Us

Water Won't Heat

Check the filter first. If it's clean and the tub still won't warm up, a sensor, flow switch or element is likely.

An Error On The Panel

Write the code down or take a photo. It tells us which part to bring.

Jets Weak Or Silent

A clogged filter, an airlock or a failing pump. We can tell which on the first visit.

Water Under The Cabinet

A leak at a fitting, union or pump seal. Shut the tub off if water reaches the equipment.

Breaker Keeps Tripping

Leave it off and call. It usually points to a heater or pump fault.

Pump Hums Or Grinds

Humming without flow or a grinding noise means the pump needs a look soon.

From Inland Northwest Owners

★★★★★
Our tub stopped heating the week before Christmas with family coming. Tulley came out two days later, replaced the heater element and had it at 102 by dinner.

We bought a house with a used hot tub nobody could tell us anything about. They went through every part, fixed a leaking jet and showed us how to keep the water right.

Honest. They told me our twenty-year-old tub wasn't worth a new pump and explained why. I appreciated that more than a sale.

Questions

Hot Tub Repair FAQ

How much does hot tub repair cost?

Our service call is $95, credited toward the repair if you go ahead. Many common repairs, like a sensor, a flow switch or a pump seal, are a few hundred dollars with parts. Heaters, pumps and control boards cost more. You get a written price first.

Why won't my hot tub heat?

The most common causes are a dirty filter, low water flow, a failed sensor or flow switch, or a burned-out heater element. Clean or swap the filter first; if it still won't heat, call us.

Which brands do you work on?

Acrylic hot tubs and spas from most major makers. Tell us the brand and model when you book and we'll bring the likely parts.

Is it worth repairing an old hot tub?

Often, yes. But if the shell is cracked, the frame is rotting or several big parts are failing at once, a new tub can make more sense. We'll give you an honest opinion either way.

Do you do electrical work?

We repair the tub's own controls, heater and wiring inside the cabinet. New circuits and panel work go to a licensed electrician; we can recommend one.

Can you winterize my hot tub?

Yes. If you won't use the tub over winter, we drain it, blow out the lines and cover it so nothing freezes and cracks.
