The Notary Who Knocks — Mobile Notary Service in East Nashville
Kitchen tables, front porches, hospital rooms, and favorite coffee shops — Maple & Main brings friendly, careful notarization to wherever life has you, seven days a week.

A Husband-and-Wife Notary Team
Maple & Main is Elena and Marcus Boyd — East Nashville residents, coffee regulars at the shop on Porter Road, and the notaries your neighbors have trusted for seven years. We started this business after watching Elena's grandmother struggle to find someone patient enough to notarize her estate papers, and that experience still shapes how we work.
We show up on time, we never rush a signer, and we explain what each notarization actually does in plain English. Whether it's a quick single-page acknowledgment or a full afternoon at a hospital bedside, you get the same unhurried care we'd want for our own family.
- ✓Commissioned Tennessee notaries, bonded & insured
- ✓Patient with seniors, first-timers & nervous signers
- ✓Plain-English explanations, never legal jargon
- ✓On time, every time — or your travel fee is free
Notary Services That Meet You Where You Are
Every visit includes careful ID checks, correct certificates, and as much time as the signing actually needs.

For the Moments That Matter Most
Some of our most important work happens in hospital rooms and senior communities, helping families put powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and wills in place. These signings ask for more than a stamp — they ask for patience, discretion, and a calm presence on a hard day.
We coordinate timing with nurses and family members, bring every supply so nobody has to leave the bedside, and take all the time the signer needs. If a loved one tires easily, we'll happily split the work across two shorter visits. It's not the fastest way to run a notary business — it's just the right one.

Four Promises, Every Visit
Written on the back of our business cards, because we mean them.
We Show Up on Time
Your window is confirmed the day before, and we arrive inside it — or the travel fee is on us. Your evening shouldn't hinge on our punctuality.
We Never Rush a Signer
The appointment ends when you're comfortable, not when a timer runs out. Questions are welcome; pressure never is.
We Get It Right
Careful ID checks and correctly completed certificates mean your documents are accepted the first time, everywhere they go.
We Keep It Neighborly
Plain English, fair prices, and the kind of service that makes you save our number for next time. That's the whole business plan.
We Probably Have a Spot Today
Most weekday visits can be booked same-day, and we hold evening slots for working families.
Things Neighbors Usually Ask
How much does a mobile notary visit cost?
Tennessee sets the notary fee per signature, and we add a simple flat travel fee based on your neighborhood — quoted in full when you book, so there are never surprises at the door. Multi-document signings like closings are priced as a package, and hospital or senior-community visits include the extra time at no extra charge.
What should I have ready when you arrive?
Three things: the unsigned document (don't sign ahead — we need to watch), a current government-issued photo ID for every signer, and any witnesses your document requires (we can help arrange witnesses if you're short). If anything else is needed for your specific paperwork, we'll tell you when you book.
Can you notarize for someone in the hospital or with limited mobility?
Yes — it's some of the most meaningful work we do. We visit hospitals, rehab facilities, hospice, and senior communities across Greater Nashville, coordinate timing with family and care staff, and never rush a signer who needs breaks. The signer must be alert and able to understand what they're signing; if you're unsure, call us and we'll talk it through honestly.
Do you really work evenings and weekends?
Really and truly. Weekday visits run from 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturdays are a normal working day for us, and Sundays are available by appointment. Most of Nashville can't take Tuesday at 2 PM off to find a notary — our whole schedule is built around that fact.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Greater Nashville — East Nashville, Germantown, The Gulch, 12 South, Sylvan Park, Berry Hill, and Madison are our daily rounds, and we regularly head out to Franklin, Hendersonville, and Mt. Juliet. If you're a bit further, call anyway; we'll quote a fair travel fee and probably say yes.
Can you help me understand what my document means?
We can explain what a notarization does and make sure you know what you're signing in plain English — but as notaries we aren't attorneys and can't give legal advice or help you choose what to sign. If your situation needs legal guidance, we're happy to suggest looking into a local attorney first and coming back to us for the signing.
