The Network Advantage

Why a Network Beats a Notary

A solo notary is one calendar and one car. Summit is forty of both — coordinated by dispatchers who treat your deadline like a shift to cover.

Somebody's Always Close

Notaries stationed from Ogden to Provo mean the average dispatch-to-doorstep run is measured in minutes, not afternoons.

No Single Point of Failure

Notary sick? Car trouble? The network absorbs it invisibly — your appointment happens anyway, on time.

19-Minute Dispatch

One call, and a dispatcher matches document type, location, and specialty to the right agent while you're still on the line.

One Quality Bar

Every network notary is commissioned, bonded, background-screened, and trained on the same Summit playbook.

Specialists on Call

Loan-certified agents, healthcare-trained visitors, court-savvy filers — the dispatcher sends the right kind, not just the closest.

One Invoice, Statewide

Businesses get one account, one rate card, and one monthly invoice — whether you signed in Sandy or St. George.

The Network

Built Like a Dispatch Company, Staffed Like a Guild

Summit started when three Salt Lake notaries realized they were each turning away work the other two could have taken. Seven years later, the network is forty-plus strong — but joining it still works the same way: a Utah commission, a clean background check, a bond, and a two-week apprenticeship on the Summit playbook before an agent takes their first solo dispatch.

The result is consistency you can feel. Whether your signing lands in Draper or Ogden, the agent arrives inside the window, runs the same document checklist, and files the same journal standards. The dispatcher who answered your call tracks the job to completion. One company's accountability, forty professionals' reach.

  • Every agent commissioned, bonded & screened
  • Two-week apprenticeship before first dispatch
  • Same checklist and standards, statewide
  • Dispatcher-tracked from call to completion
How Dispatch Works

Call to Doorstep in Four Moves

Nineteen minutes is the average time from your call to a confirmed, en-route notary.

1

One Call

Tell dispatch the document, the place, and the deadline. Fee quoted flat, on the spot.

2

Smart Match

The system finds the nearest available agent with the right specialty — loan, healthcare, court, or general.

3

Live Tracking

You get the agent's name, photo, and ETA by text — and dispatch watches the job until it's done.

4

Signed & Logged

Documents executed to the Summit standard, journaled, and — for businesses — logged to your account history.

For Businesses

A Notary Department, Minus the Headcount

Title companies, law firms, healthcare agencies, and property managers run their signing operations on Summit accounts. You get priority dispatch ahead of the general queue, a coordinator who learns your document conventions, and one consolidated invoice however many cities you signed in this month.

Onboarding takes a day: we set your rate card, load your locations, and introduce your coordinator. From then on, 'find a notary' stops being a task anyone at your company thinks about — it's one number, and it's handled.

  • Priority dispatch ahead of the queue
  • Dedicated coordinator & rate card
  • One consolidated monthly invoice
  • Account history & reporting on request

We manage title branches in four Utah cities, and Summit is the only signing vendor we use in all of them. Same booking process, same quality bar, same invoice format whether the closing is in Ogden or Provo. Consolidating to their network cut our signing no-shows to literally zero last year.

Called at 8 AM from Sandy needing a POA notarized before a 2 PM flight. Dispatcher had a notary from their network at my kitchen table by 9:15. The 'one number, forty notaries' thing isn't marketing — somebody genuinely close to you is always on duty.

Our home-health agency needs notaries at patient homes across three counties, often on short notice. Summit's healthcare-trained agents handle our directives and POAs with real sensitivity, and their dispatch team coordinates directly with our nurses. It's like having an in-house notary department.

I clerk for a firm that files in courts from Logan to Provo. Summit gets affidavits and verifications notarized and to the courthouse same-day, every time, and their agents actually understand court formatting. The network model means distance never blows a deadline.

Network Questions

How the Network Works for You

Is a network notary as accountable as a solo one?

More, in practice. Every Summit agent works under the same company standards, carries the same bonding and screening, and is tracked by a dispatcher from assignment to completion — so accountability doesn't depend on one person's memory or mood. If anything ever falls short, one call to dispatch resolves it; you're a client of the network, not of whoever showed up.

How do you cover the whole state?

Agents are stationed across Utah's population centers — the Wasatch Front thickly, and Logan, Park City, Vernal, Moab, and St. George besides. The dispatch system matches by proximity and specialty, which is how the average call-to-doorstep run stays under an hour even outside Salt Lake proper. Rural jobs are quoted honestly with realistic drive times.

What does dispatch cost?

Utah's statutory notary fee per signature plus a flat travel fee by zone — quoted in full when you call, before anything is dispatched. Evenings and weekends carry a posted premium. Business accounts run on a negotiated rate card with consolidated invoicing, which typically lands below one-off pricing at any real volume.

Can we get the same notary each time?

For standing business accounts, yes — your coordinator assigns a primary agent (or a small pod for coverage) so the same faces learn your documents and your front desk. For one-off dispatches we optimize for speed, but you can always request a specific agent you've worked with, subject to their schedule.

Do your agents handle loan signings?

A certified subset does — NNA-certified signing agents with E&O coverage who work title and escrow packages exclusively. Tell dispatch it's a loan signing and the match happens within that pool, never with a general-purpose notary. Title companies can also contract the loan pool directly as a standing vendor.

What hours does dispatch answer?

Live dispatchers work 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week — and requests submitted overnight through the form are queued for the first morning dispatch. True after-hours emergencies (hospital signings, mostly) are handled by the on-call rotation; call and follow the prompt, and someone will pick up.
