A Little City of Kitchens
Assembly 8 turned a century-old warehouse in the Short North into a hall for eight independent kitchens, a center bar, and a whole lot of shared tables. We handle the room, the bar, and the events; the operators handle the food they're obsessed with.
The lineup rotates so there's always something new, the bar runs till midnight, and weekends bring live music and pop-ups. It's a night out, a quick lunch, and a place to bring a crowd that never agrees — all under one roof.

Before You Come
Do I need a reservation?
Nope — walk in, grab any open seat, and order from whichever counters you like. For big groups or private hire, book ahead through the form below and we'll set aside space.
How does ordering work?
Each kitchen takes its own order at the counter, and the center bar handles drinks. Everyone at your table can order from a different kitchen — pile it all in the middle and share.
Is it good for kids and big groups?
Very — the communal tables and something-for-everyone lineup are built for families and crews. High chairs available, and we can hold a big table with a heads-up.

Can I book it for a private event?
Yes — semi-private corners, full buyouts, and catering from any of the kitchens. Tell us the date and headcount through the form and we'll build it.
