A Wine Bar That Doesn't Talk Down to You

Piquette Radio is half bar, half bottle shop, run by people who got tired of wine being sold with a straight face and a markup. We only pour low-intervention wine — farmed clean, fermented wild, nothing added — from growers we actually know.

Tell us what you're into and we'll pour you something you'll love, then sell you the bottle to take home. No gatekeeping, no tasting-note theater. Just good, weird, honest wine and a room you won't want to leave.

  • Low-intervention wine only
  • Growers we know by name
  • Drink in or take the bottle home
  • Zero snobbery, always
Wait, What's Natural Wine?

Four Things, No Jargon

It's simpler than the internet makes it sound. Here's the whole idea.

Farmed Clean

Grapes grown organically or biodynamically — no synthetic sprays in the vineyard, healthier fruit in the glass.

Fermented Wild

It ferments with the yeast that's already on the grapes, not a lab packet. That's where the funk and personality come from.

Nothing Added

No additives, no fining, little to no added sulfur. What's in the bottle is grapes and time — and not much else.

Alive in the Glass

Because it's barely filtered and unmanipulated, it's a little different every time. That's the fun, not a flaw.

Take It Home

The Bottle Shop in the Back

Behind the bar is a wall of three hundred bottles, all the same low-intervention stuff we pour, priced to take home. Grab one on your way out, or come in just to browse — the staff love a rabbit hole.

We host tastings most Sundays, run a bottle club for the truly hooked, and can put together a case for your dinner party or event. Just ask.

Brooklyn Keeps Coming Back

My favorite wine bar in Brooklyn, full stop. They pour things you can't find anywhere else and explain them without a shred of snobbery. Tell them what you like and they'll nail it every time.

The bottle shop is a rabbit hole in the best way — funky pét-nats, skin-contact everything, and staff who actually know the growers. The tinned fish and the playlist make it hard to leave.

Cool without the attitude. Grabbed a glass at the bar, stayed for three and a cheese plate, and left with two bottles for the weekend. This is exactly what a neighborhood wine bar should be.

Good to Know

Before You Come By

Do I need a reservation?

The bar is walk-in and always has room to stand and sip. For a table, especially on weekends, book ahead through the form below — the back tables go fast.

I don't know anything about natural wine. Help?

Perfect, that's our favorite. Tell us a wine or a flavor you like — or just a vibe — and we'll pour you something you'll love. There are no wrong answers and zero judgment here.

Can I take bottles home?

Yes — every bottle on the shelf is available to take home at shop price, or to drink in for a $15 corkage. Browse anytime the bar's open.

Do you have non-alcoholic options?

A few good ones — a house zero-proof spritz and a verjus tonic that scratch the wine itch without the ABV. Ask the bar.

Can you do a private event or a case for a party?

Both. We host buyouts and tastings in the space, and we'll build a mixed case for your dinner or event. Send the details through the form.

Where are you and how do I get there?

231 Nassau Ave in Greenpoint, a short walk from the Nassau Ave G train, with the B62 right outside and street parking around.
