Speed & Agility Training in Plano
Faster first steps, sharper cuts and stronger landings — coached in small groups, measured with the same tests every six weeks, and built around your athlete's season.

Programs For Every Stage
Small groups of six at most, coached by the same people every session.

Coaching First. Equipment Second.
Vantline opened in 2018 in a single turf bay off Premier Drive, because too many Plano athletes were lifting from videos and sprinting without anyone watching their knees. Our coaches come from exercise-science and collegiate-athletics backgrounds, and every session is built by a coach who has watched that athlete move. We keep groups small, we test on a schedule, and we tell parents what the numbers mean.
- ✓Coaches with exercise-science and strength backgrounds
- ✓Six athletes per coach at most
- ✓Landing and deceleration work in every session
- ✓Results shared with families every six weeks
Different Sports, Different Demands
Football
First-step explosiveness, change of direction and the strength to finish contact.
Basketball

Soccer
Repeat-sprint speed, deceleration and single-leg strength for ninety minutes.
Volleyball & Baseball
Approach jumps, rotational power and shoulder-friendly strength work.
Test. Train. Re-Test.
Free Evaluation
A movement screen and baseline tests: sprint, agility, jump and a few strength basics.
A Six-Week Block
Two or three sessions a week in a small group, planned around practices and games.
Re-Test Day
The same tests, the same way, so you can see exactly what changed.
The Next Block
We adjust the plan to the numbers and to what's coming up in the season.
Safe, Measured, Age-Right
Is Lifting Safe For Kids?
Coached, age-appropriate strength training is widely recommended for young athletes. We start with bodyweight and technique.
Will It Clash With Practice?
Blocks are planned around the team schedule, with lighter weeks around tournaments and games.
How Will We Know It Works?
The same tests every six weeks. If the numbers aren't moving, we change the plan and tell you why.
What About Injuries?
We're coaches, not clinicians. Athletes coming back from injury start once their doctor or therapist clears them.
Where The Work Happens

Athletes Before Specialists
Our youth development groups teach younger kids to run, jump, land, throw and change direction well — the skills every sport shares. It's playful, it's coached, and it builds the base that makes later sport-specific training safer and more effective.
- ✓Games-based sessions twice a week
- ✓Groups by age and size
- ✓No heavy lifting, ever, at this age
Numbers Families Can See
My son's 40 dropped by two tenths over one off-season, and the coaches never let him skip the landing and deceleration work. He played his senior football season without missing a game.
Club volleyball had my daughter jumping all year with no strength work at all. Vantline built a program around her tournament schedule and her approach jump went up four inches by spring.
I came in as a sophomore who was fast in a straight line and slow everywhere else. Two summers of agility and strength work and I'm the first guy back on defense.

Training Questions
What ages do you train?
Athletes from 8 to 18. Ages 8 to 12 train in youth development groups; older athletes train in sport and level groups.
How many sessions a week?
Two or three during an off-season block, one or two in season. We'll recommend a number at the evaluation based on the athlete's schedule.
Do you work with teams?
Yes — school and club teams train with us on our turf or at their own field, with the program shared with the coaching staff.
My athlete is coming back from an injury. Can they join?
Once their doctor or physical therapist has cleared them for training. We'll ask for the clearance and build the program around any limits it sets.
What should they wear?
Athletic clothes and clean training shoes — cleats aren't needed on our turf. Bring a water bottle.
Is there a contract?
No. Programs are sold in six-week blocks, and you decide at the end of each one whether to continue.
