Motorcycle Towing Questions
How much does motorcycle towing cost?
A local motorcycle tow starts from $110 for the hook-up, plus a per-mile rate for the distance. Dispatch quotes the whole price before we send a truck.
Why flatbed only?
Towing a motorcycle on a wheel-lift drags it by one wheel and puts stress on the forks and steering. On a flatbed the bike stands upright in a chock and never touches the road.
Where do you put the straps?
On the lower triple clamp, the frame and the rear subframe — never across the tank, seat, bags or bodywork, and never over the brake or clutch levers.
Can I ride along?
Yes — riders and a passenger can ride up front in most of our trucks. Let dispatch know when you call.
Do you tow trikes and sidecars?
Yes. We carry wide ramps and use the deck winch for heavy three-wheelers.
Are you open in winter?
From November through March dispatch runs 7am to 10pm. In riding season it's around the clock.
