Craftsmanship You Can Lean On
A fence is only as good as the crew that sets it. Here's what twenty-two years of doing it right looks like.
22 Years, Family-Owned
Two decades of fences across greater Fort Worth, built by a family crew that's still here to stand behind every one of them.
Built to Last
Quality cedar, galvanized hardware, and concrete-set posts. We build the fence the right way, not the fast way — so it lasts.
Straight & True
Every post set plumb, every rail level, every line laser-straight — even across slopes and rough ground. The details are the difference.
Licensed, Bonded & Insured
Fully licensed, bonded, and insured, so your property and our crew are protected from the first post to the final gate.
Honest, Upfront Pricing
A clear written estimate before we start, with no surprise add-ons. We help you pick the fence that fits your property and your budget.
We Leave It Spotless
We haul away your old fence, clean up every nail and scrap, and leave your yard better than we found it. Respect is part of the job.

Fort Worth's Fence Family Since 2004
Brackett Fence Co. started in 2004 with one truck, a post-hole digger, and a simple promise: build every fence like it's going around our own home. Twenty-two years and twenty-five hundred fences later, we're still family-owned, still in Fort Worth, and still setting every post by hand.
We build the way fences are supposed to be built — quality cedar and powder-coated steel, galvanized hardware, posts set deep in concrete, and lines run dead-straight whether your ground is flat or rolling. We pull the permits, we treat your yard with respect, and we stand behind our work for the long haul. From a backyard privacy fence to a thousand feet of ranch pipe, you get the same craftsmanship and the same family looking you in the eye. That's why so much of our work comes from neighbors who saw the last fence we built.

Anyone Can Set a Post. We Build It to Last.
The difference between a fence that sags in five years and one that stands proud for decades is all in how it's built.
Posts Set in Concrete
Every post set deep and concreted true — the foundation that keeps a fence straight through Texas heat, storms, and shifting ground.
Quality Materials Only
Real cedar, galvanized and stainless hardware, powder-coated steel. We don't cut corners where it costs you years down the road.
Straight Lines, Every Time
We string and level every run so your fence is laser-straight, even across slopes — the mark of a crew that's done it ten thousand times.
We Stand Behind It
Family-owned means we're still here in five years. We warranty our work and we answer the phone, because our name is on the fence.
Fort Worth Trusts Brackett
After two storms and fifteen years, our old fence was leaning into the neighbor's yard and held together with zip ties. Brackett came out, gave us an honest estimate, and built a cedar privacy fence that is genuinely beautiful — straight as an arrow, every picket dead level. The crew was respectful, cleaned up every scrap, and finished a day early. Our whole backyard feels new.
We needed about 1,200 feet of pipe fencing across our property in Weatherford and a few companies wouldn't even return the call. Brackett showed up when they said, set every post true, and the run is laser-straight across some pretty uneven ground. You can tell these folks have done a lot of ranch work. Fair price and built to outlast me.
I wanted ornamental aluminum around the pool that looked upscale but met code, and Brackett nailed it. They walked me through the styles, handled the permit, and the finished fence with the custom gate looks like it belongs on a much more expensive house. Three neighbors have already asked who did it. Couldn't be happier.
Brackett built our backyard fence eight years ago and just came back to add a matching gate and repair a section a fallen limb took out. Same family, same quality, and they stood behind the original work without any fuss. It's rare to find a contractor you trust enough to call again without shopping around. They've earned a customer for life.

Fencing Questions, Answered
Which fence material is best for me?
It depends on what you want the fence to do. Cedar privacy fencing is warm and classic and our most popular choice for backyards. Vinyl is bright and nearly maintenance-free. Ornamental aluminum looks upscale and is perfect around pools and front yards. Chain-link is durable and budget-friendly. For acreage and livestock, pipe and ranch fencing is the way to go. We'll walk your property and recommend what fits your goals, your style, and your budget — with no pressure.
How long will my fence last?
A properly built fence lasts a long time. Quality cedar privacy fences typically last 15 to 20+ years, vinyl and ornamental aluminum often 25 years or more, and pipe ranch fencing can last a lifetime. The single biggest factor is how it's built — posts set deep in concrete, galvanized hardware, and proper spacing. That's exactly where we don't cut corners, which is why so many of our fences outlast the warranty by years.
How much does a new fence cost?
It depends on the material, height, length, and your terrain — a short ornamental section is very different from a thousand feet of ranch fence. The best way to get a real number is our free on-site estimate: we measure your property, talk through materials, and give you a clear written quote with no surprises and no obligation. We'll also walk you through options at different price points so you can choose what fits.
Do you handle permits and property lines?
Yes. We pull any permits your project requires and help confirm your property lines and HOA requirements before we dig. We also call in utility locates so we never put a post through a buried line. Handling these details up front is part of doing the job right — it protects you, keeps the project on schedule, and avoids costly mistakes.
How long does installation take?
Most residential fences are installed in one to three days depending on length, material, and terrain. Larger ranch projects or custom gates can take longer, and we'll give you a realistic timeline in your estimate. We set posts and let concrete cure properly rather than rushing — a fence built too fast is a fence that leans, and we'd rather do it right.
Do you repair existing fences?
Absolutely — including fences we didn't build. Storm damage, leaning posts, broken rails, sagging gates, or a section a tree took out: we can repair or replace as needed. Sometimes a repair makes sense, and sometimes a section is far enough gone that replacement is the better value. We'll give you our honest take either way, even when it's the smaller job.
