About Us

We've Sailed Most Of The Ships We Sell

Wickersham has booked cruises from Fort Lauderdale since 2007. Our five advisors have sailed more than 150 cruises between them, so we can tell you which ship has the better kids' club, which cabins sit under the pool deck and which ports are worth a shore excursion. Most cruise lines pay us a commission, so our advice costs you nothing extra.

Questions

Cruise Travel Agent FAQ

Is it more expensive to book a cruise through a travel agent?

No. Cruise lines pay us a commission, so the fare is the same as booking direct, and sometimes we can add extras through promotions or group rates.

How many cabins make a group?

Most cruise lines treat 8 or more cabins as a group. Group bookings can come with extras like onboard credit or a free berth, depending on the line's rules.

Can each family in our group pay separately?

Yes. Every traveler books and pays their own cabin through the link we send, and we keep track of who's paid.

Do we need passports for a Caribbean cruise?

For closed-loop cruises that start and end at the same US port, US citizens can often sail with a birth certificate and photo ID, but a passport is strongly recommended in case you need to fly home from a foreign port. Check the current rules for your sailing with us before you book.

Should we fly in the day before?

Yes. We recommend arriving the day before your cruise. A delayed flight on embarkation day can mean missing the ship.

Do you book river cruises and land tours too?

Yes. River cruises in Europe, and land tours before or after a cruise, like Denali before an Alaska sailing.
