Fallowmere started ten years ago when a few Knoxville homeschool parents asked a former science teacher to run a lab class. Today we offer tutoring in every core subject and small weekday classes, but the idea is the same: you stay in charge of your homeschool, and we help with the subjects that are hard to teach at the kitchen table.
We work with the curriculum you already use, and we send home notes after every session, so nothing happens without you knowing.

What Parents Ask
How much does homeschool tutoring cost?
One-on-one tutoring is $50 an hour. Small classes are $140 a semester per subject, one class a week. Transcript help is $250. The first visit is free.
Do we have to use your curriculum?
No. We work with the curriculum you already use, and we can suggest options if you're choosing one.
Are you an umbrella school?
No. We're a tutoring service. You stay in charge of your homeschool and its records, and we're happy to share notes and work samples for them.
How old are the children in classes?
Kindergarten through twelfth grade, grouped by age and level, with six students at most.
Can you help with high school transcripts?
Yes. We help you plan courses, write course descriptions and lay out a transcript. The transcript is yours to issue as the homeschool.
What are your hours?
Monday to Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM and Friday 9 AM to noon, at 2214 Thornwick Pike.
