SAT & ACT Prep in Bethesda, MD
Start with a free full-length practice test and a score report that shows exactly where the points are. Then prep for those — nothing else.
Which Test Are You Preparing For?
Pick one — we'll match the practice test, the tutor and the timeline to it.
Not sure which test? Take both practice tests free and we'll compare the reports with you.

The Score Report Is The Plan
Most prep courses march every student through the same book. We start with a full-length, timed practice test and break the results down by question type, section and timing. A student who loses points on pacing needs different work from one who loses them on grammar rules.
That report becomes a week-by-week plan. Every few weeks you take another timed test, the plan updates, and you see the score move — or we change the approach.
- ✓Full timed practice test to start
- ✓A plan built on question types
- ✓Retests every three to four weeks

What A Prep Book Can't Give You
High-Scoring Tutors Who Can Teach
Every tutor has a top score on the test they teach — and passes our own teaching review, because a high score alone doesn't make a good coach.
Strategy For Each Question Type
Reading, grammar and math questions repeat in patterns. We teach the pattern, then drill it until it's automatic.
Pacing Practice Under Real Timing
Plenty of students know the material and still run out of time. Every session ends with a timed set.
Honest Advice On When To Stop
If your score has leveled off near your target, we'll tell you — and help you spend the time on applications instead.

Calm Comes From Practice
By test day, our students have sat four full timed tests and dozens of timed sections. They know how long each section feels, when to skip and come back, and what to do when a question looks unfamiliar.
For students with test anxiety or approved accommodations, we practice under the exact conditions they'll have on the day — extended time included.
- ✓Four full timed practice tests
- ✓A pacing plan for every section
- ✓Practice with extended time if approved

Test Prep Questions
When should my student start prepping?
Usually the summer before or the fall of junior year, about three months before the first test date. Starting earlier rarely helps unless there's a specific gap to close.
Do you prep for the digital SAT?
Yes. Our SAT practice tests and timed sections are all digital, with the same adaptive section format and on-screen tools as the real test.
How many times should a student take the test?
Most of our students take it twice, and some three times. We'll help you plan the dates around school, sports and application deadlines.
How much does test prep cost?
Private tutoring is $135 per hour, and most students do 16–24 hours. The eight-week small-group bootcamp is $895. The practice test and score review are free.
Private tutoring or a bootcamp?
Bootcamps suit students who are fairly balanced across sections and want structure. Private tutoring is better when the score report shows a few big, specific gaps or the timeline is short.
Can you guarantee a score increase?
No honest tutor can. What we can promise is a plan built on your own results, regular retests so you can see whether it's working, and a straight answer if it isn't.
Where do sessions happen?
In our office near downtown Bethesda or online. Practice tests run on Saturday mornings in the office, or proctored online.
Do you work with students who get extended time?
Yes. If your student has approved accommodations, every practice test and timed section runs under those exact conditions.
