Filmed the Way It Tastes — Restaurant & Food Video in New Orleans

New Orleans, Louisiana

Our Approach

Appetite Is Visual

Nobody reads a menu and salivates — they watch steam rise off a plate and book a table. We film food close, slow, and honest: real kitchens, real service pace, dishes styled by your chef and nobody else. If it wouldn't be served, we don't shoot it.

  • Styled by your chef — never a food stylist's tricks
  • Shot around service, not instead of it
  • Macro, motion, and steam — appetite on screen
  • Every dish filmed the way it leaves the pass

How It Works

Tasting to Table

1

The Tasting Call

We learn the menu, the room, and what the film is for — then scope a shoot around your service.

2

The Shoot Day

In and out around prep and service. Your chef styles, we light, the kitchen keeps moving.

3

The First Cut

A first cut in 48 hours, seasoned with your notes — nothing ships without the chef's nod.

4

Service

Delivered for site, socials, and press — sized, captioned, and ready before the launch.

On Set

Shot on Location, Lit Like Cinema

Your kitchen already has everything a great food film needs — fire, steam, brass, and people who move like they mean it. We bring cinema glass and quiet lights, work the corners your line doesn't need, and leave before family meal.

  • Small footprint crews that respect a working line
  • Cinema lenses on real burners, not studio fakes
  • Steam, sizzle, and pour captured at high speed
  • Wrapped and cleared before evening service

Chef Antoine Ledet
The menu film paid for itself the first weekend. Covers up 30%, and every third table mentions the video. They filmed our gumbo the way my grandmother would have wanted it filmed.
Camille Fontenot
Our reels went from an afterthought to the best-performing thing we do. Roux & Reel shoots a month of content in one morning and it all actually looks like our restaurant.
Theo Marsh
They filmed our roastery story with so much patience — the origin trip, the cupping table, all of it. Wholesale accounts doubled the quarter we put it on the site.
Questions

Before the Shoot

Do we need to close the restaurant for filming?

No — we build shoot days around your prep and service. Most restaurant films are shot in a single morning plus one dinner service, and the kitchen runs normally the whole time.

Who styles the food?

Your chef does. We advise on what reads well on camera, but every dish is real, made by your kitchen, exactly as it's served. No glue, no glycerin, no tricks.

How fast do we get the film?

First cut in 48 hours, final film inside two weeks, social cuts alongside. Menu-launch and festival deadlines are honored — tell us the date and we work backward.

What does a restaurant film cost?

Menu films, story films, and monthly content programs are each scoped differently — the tasting call gets you an exact quote. Most single-location films land in the low four figures.

Can you shoot outside New Orleans?

The Gulf South is home turf — Baton Rouge, the coast, Lafayette. Origin stories travel further; we've filmed farms, boats, and roasters wherever the ingredient starts.

Do you do ongoing social content?

Yes — monthly programs shoot a month of reels in one visit, cut and scheduled around your launches. It's the most efficient way to keep the feed as good as the food.
