Our Ironton Street shop runs CNC plasma, a 400-ton brake, and benches manned by the same welders who rotate through the field — so the people fabricating your stairs have installed a hundred like them. Detailing happens in-house, which is why our shop drawings catch clashes architects miss and why change orders from Vantage are rare enough that PMs mention it in references.

Vantage picked up our misc metals package after another sub fell behind — stairs, rails, and forty-one embed repairs. Their crew was on steel within a week, every weld came with paperwork our special inspector accepted first pass, and the package finished ahead of the recovery schedule they were handed. We needed moment-frame retrofits in an occupied 1970s building — welding overhead, off-hours, with tenants below. Every field welder carries current AWS D1.1 certs matched to the positions and processes your joints require, and we submit copies with the WPS package before mobilization. Your special inspector sees paper before steel.
Can you work occupied buildings and off-hours?
Yes — retrofit work in occupied buildings is a specialty. We sequence with your engineer, run containment and fire watch to plan, and schedule around tenants: nights, weekends, and holiday shutdowns included.
Do you do design-assist or just build-to-print?
Both. Our detailers regularly sit design-assist on stairs, connections, and misc metals — catching constructability issues while they're still eraser problems instead of grinder problems.
What size packages do you take?
From a week of embedded field crew to full misc metals packages on mid-rise work. If a scope is beyond us, we say so at the bid — never after mobilization.
What area do you cover?
