How far in advance should we start planning?
For most destinations we recommend 10–14 months. It gives us time to secure the best venue and vendors, arrange guest travel comfortably, and handle any legal paperwork without a rush. That said, we've beautifully pulled off weddings in less — talk to us about your timeline.
Will our wedding abroad be legally binding?
It can be. Requirements vary by country — some are simple, others need documents translated and filed in advance. Many couples handle the legal marriage at home and hold a symbolic ceremony abroad. We'll walk you through the cleanest option for your destination and manage the paperwork either way.
How do you handle vendors in another country?
We work with a network of vetted local vendors we've personally partnered with for years, and we liaise with them in their language. Every vendor is contracted and coordinated by us, so you're never negotiating across a time zone or a language barrier.
What about our guests' travel and stays?
We coordinate room blocks, group rates, airport transfers, and clear travel guidance, and we can build a guest website so everyone has the details in one place. Looking after the people you love is part of the plan, not an afterthought.
Do you travel to the destination for the wedding?

How is pricing structured for a destination wedding?
After your consultation we provide a clear proposal with a flat planning fee based on your scope and destination — no vague percentages. Vendor and travel costs are tracked transparently in your budget, so you always know where things stand.
