A Little Zari Weddings Magic
Breathtaking Indian and South Asian weddings we've designed across Chicagoland.

Three Reasons Families Choose Us
For the celebration of a lifetime, families across Chicagoland trust Zari Weddings.
We Live and Breathe These Traditions
South Asian weddings are all we do. Every ritual, every region, every faith — we honor them with genuine understanding and care.
Our Décor Is Unforgettable
From the mandap to the marigolds, our design work is the detail guests remember for years — traditional in soul, breathtaking in scale.
We Make Multi-Day Feel Effortless
Four days, five events, three hundred guests — we orchestrate it all so both families can simply be present and joyful.

Décor That Takes Their Breath Away
The mandap is the heart of the ceremony, and we design each one as a work of art — cascading florals, rich fabrics, warm light, and every detail rooted in meaning. Beyond the mandap, we style every event: the mehndi's intimate color, the sangeet's electric energy, the reception's grandeur. Traditional in soul and stunning in scale, our design work is what guests remember long after the last dance.
- ✓Custom mandap design & floral installations
- ✓Cohesive décor across every event
- ✓Rich fabrics, marigolds & dramatic lighting
- ✓Traditional meaning, breathtaking execution
Words From Our Couples & Families
Our wedding was four days, three hundred guests, two families with very different visions — and Zari Weddings made it all feel effortless and beautiful. From the baraat down Devon Avenue to the reception, every ritual was honored perfectly and every detail was stunning. Our parents cried happy tears all weekend. We are endlessly grateful.
Planning a fusion wedding — Gujarati meets Punjabi meets a touch of Western — could have been chaos. Instead it was the most joyful, seamless weekend of our lives. They knew every tradition, sourced the best dhol players and mehndi artists, and the mandap took our breath away. Worth every rupee and dollar.
As the mother of the bride, I wanted everything perfect and traditional — and I am not easy to please. Zari Weddings exceeded every expectation. They handled the pandit, the caterers, the décor, and three hundred relatives with grace and warmth. My daughter's wedding was the celebration of a lifetime.

South Asian Wedding Questions, Answered
Do you plan weddings for all South Asian faiths and regions?
Yes — Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Jain, Christian, and beautiful fusions of them all, across North and South Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Sri Lankan traditions. We take the time to understand your family's specific customs and honor every ritual authentically.
Can you handle a large, multi-day wedding?
Absolutely — it's our specialty. We regularly plan four- and five-event celebrations for two to five hundred guests: mehndi, sangeet, haldi, the ceremony, and the reception. Orchestrating multiple events and large guest counts is exactly what we do best.
Do you have trusted South Asian vendors?
We have deep relationships with Chicagoland's best pandits, halal and vegetarian caterers, henna artists, dhol players, décor teams, and photographers who specialize in South Asian weddings. We curate the perfect team for your family's traditions and taste.
Can you help blend two different family traditions?
Yes, and we love it. Fusion weddings — whether two South Asian cultures or a South Asian and Western blend — are among our favorites. We navigate both families with warmth and diplomacy, weaving traditions into one seamless, meaningful celebration.
How far in advance should we book?
For a full multi-day wedding, 12–18 months is ideal — the best venues and vendors book early, especially in peak season. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway; we've beautifully planned celebrations on shorter timelines.
How is your pricing structured?
After an initial consultation, we provide a clear proposal with a flat planning and design fee based on your events and scope. Vendor and décor costs are tracked transparently in your budget, so you always know where things stand. No vague percentages — just clarity.
