Ormsby began in 2014 when friends kept asking us to do their trees. Twelve seasons later we decorate more than four hundred Charlotte homes and a handful of restaurants and offices each year. Every project starts with a walk through your home, a design built around your colors and the pieces you already love, and a single day of installation.

They did our tree, the mantel, the staircase and the front door in one afternoon, and it looked like a magazine shoot. In January it was all gone, packed and labeled, before we got home from work.
We host forty people every Christmas Eve. Ormsby planned the whole house around the party, down to garland on the dining room chandelier. Our guests still talk about it.
They decorate our restaurant every year: the front windows, the bar and a fourteen-foot tree. They work after close so we never lose a service.

Christmas Decorating FAQ
How much does a Christmas decorating service cost?
A single decorated tree starts at $450, and most whole-home projects in Charlotte run $1,800 to $5,000 depending on the number of rooms and the greenery. Every price includes design, installation and takedown.
Can you use our own ornaments and decorations?
Yes, and we encourage it. We'll design around the pieces you love and add only what's needed.
When should we book?
September for the best install dates. Late November and early December weekends fill first.
Do we need to be home on install day?
Only for the start. Most clients let us in, head out, and come home to the finished house.
Do you decorate outside too?
Yes. Wreaths, garland and planters at the front door, and warm white lights on the roofline and trees.
What happens in January?
We come back, take everything down, and pack and label it. Your pieces go back where you keep them, and ours go into storage.
