Marlby started in 2020 when a few Farragut neighbors asked if we'd hang the lights they already owned. Most companies only install their own lights, so nobody else would. Six seasons later we hang for more than 1,600 Knox County homes, and about half of them use their own lights. We test every strand first, swap the dead bulbs, and hang it straight.

How much does it cost to have Christmas lights hung?
Hanging your own lights on a one-story Knoxville home starts at $299, and takedown is $149. With our lights, it's from $549 including takedown and storage.
Will you really hang lights I already own?
Yes, that's half of what we do. We test every strand first. If some are dead, we'll fix them or tell you before we hang anything.
What if my lights don't reach?
We carry extra cords and can bring matching strands to fill the gap. We'll tell you the cost before adding anything.
Do I need to be home?
No. Leave your totes by the garage and make sure we can reach an outdoor outlet.
Do you do two-story homes?
Yes. Two stories usually add about a third to the price. Very steep roofs we quote after seeing a photo.
When do you take them down?
We start takedowns the first week of January and coil everything back into your totes.
