Hi, I'm Eddie Machaalani, the founder of Zarla.
You're probably here because you're deciding whether to put your business's website, the first thing most customers see, in the hands of a company you don't know. That's a fair thing to hesitate over. So here's who we are.
I've been building software for small businesses for twenty-five years. My first company was a web design agency. Owners filled in a form about their business and I built the site by hand from it. They loved the sites and hated the process: every change meant calling me, and every call cost them money. I've spent my whole career since trying to remove that.
Along the way I co-founded BigCommerce, the e-commerce platform. It grew from two people in Sydney into a public company that powers online stores around the world. That's where I learned what it takes to run software that businesses depend on every day: it has to stay up, it has to stay fast, and it has to keep getting better.
Zarla is the company I started that agency to become. Describe your business and it builds the site. Want something changed? Type it. It's the promise I made to my first agency customers, and now I can keep it.
