A private chef business, planned and built
Zarla now takes a private chef from the business plan to the website: a free business plan, a start-up guide and a page written for the trade.
The plan prices one chef cooking in clients' own kitchens, coursed dinners by the guest, weekly meals by the visit and the groceries at cost, from sources we opened and named. The guide covers what to charge, the food safety certificate and insurance that stand in for a license, the line between a private chef and a caterer, and what chefs who left the restaurant line say about it.
The builder page shows what the website needs: sample menus with prices, your dietary programs, how the evening unfolds, and a way to ask about a date, with a deposit by link and an invoice after each dinner.
