Done by AI · not an agency

Hotel website design by AI, for boutique hotels, inns, bed and breakfasts and cabins.

Brief Zarla the way you'd brief a web designer. Its AI designs your site in about 30 seconds, with a stay request form and call buttons, then adds pages for your rooms, your breakfast and the places guests come to see, up to your plan's page limit. No sales call, no weeks-long build.

Sample designs

Looks like a $5,000 agency website. Judge for yourself.

Six Zarla designs, shown for made-up hotels and inns, from a fourteen-room city hotel with a bar to five cabins on a ridge. Start from one and the AI rewrites it around yours, or let your brief decide.

Havenbrook: a sample boutique hotel — modern website design

City hotel · type-led

Havenbrook

'Boutique Hotel in East Austin' in big type with 'Ask About Dates' and 'See The Rooms' as the buttons, then 'Five Layouts, Fourteen Rooms' as rate pills with the everyday number, for the small city hotel whose bar fills with people who didn't book a room.

Wrenlow House: a sample bed & breakfast — classic website design

Bed & breakfast · check availability

Wrenlow House

A split first screen on the house itself, 'Historic Bed and Breakfast in Charleston' beside 'Check Availability', then 'Five Rooms, Each One Different' with per-night rates that include breakfast, parking and the afternoon porch, for the B&B where a person answers.

Pemberlyn Inn: a sample historic inn website design

Historic inn · the building's story

Pemberlyn Inn

'Historic Inn in Savannah' set in ink and antique gold with no photo in the first screen, 'Inquire About A Room' as the button, five rooms each with its own picture and rate, and 'What Happened To This House' told in four dates, for the inn whose building is the reason to stay.

Elderbay Inn: a sample coastal inn website design

Beach inn · when to come

Elderbay Inn

A three-slide carousel over 'Beachfront Inn in Cape May, NJ', 'Check Dates' as the button, 'Eleven Rooms, Four Kinds' with every rate including breakfast, beach tags for two and a bicycle, and 'When to come, honestly' month by month, for the inn with a season.

Sablecreek Cabins: a sample cabin rental website design

Cabins · whole-cabin rates

Sablecreek Cabins

'Secluded Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg' over a dark photo of the ridge, 'Check Dates' and 'See The Cabins' as the buttons, 'Five Cabins On The Ridge' in a grid with per-night rates for the whole cabin and firewood included, for the rental that calls itself 'five cabins, not a portal'.

Orchardly Farm: a sample farm stay website design

Farm stay · headline in the field

Orchardly Farm

'Working Farm Stay in Lancaster' set into a full-bleed photo of the farm, 'Check Dates' and 'Where You Sleep' as the buttons, 'Four Places To Sleep' with rates that include breakfast, and 'Roughly how it goes' from Friday after four to Sunday out by ten, for the farm that takes guests.

The checklist

What every hotel website needs

What a good hotel website is laid out like, from the first screen down: six things it needs to turn a getaway search into a direct booking, each shown on one of Zarla's designs.

  1. 01

A check-dates form in the first screen, where a trade puts its quote form

A guest arrives with two dates and a number of people, and the site that takes them without a phone call gets the stay. Set a short form next to the headline asking the arrival date, the nights, how many guests and which room caught their eye, say how fast a person replies, and keep 'See the rooms' as the second button for the guest who hasn't decided. Zarla's first draft ships a stay request form; ask it in chat to add arrival, nights and guests.

Wrenlow House: 'Historic Bed and Breakfast in Charleston' beside 'Check Availability' and 'See The Rooms', then 'How A Stay Gets Confirmed' in four steps, 'Send Us Your Dates', 'We Reply Within The Day', 'One Night Holds It' and 'Arrive And Park'
  2. 02

Every room under its own name, with its bed, its bathroom and its nightly rate

Guests choose a room before they choose a date. Give each room a card with its name, the bed, the bathroom, what it looks onto and the everyday rate per night, and say which rooms are on the ground floor and which take a dog, so the right guest asks for the right room and your front desk stops answering the same email. If rates move with the season, say so beside the number.

Havenbrook: 'Five Layouts, Fourteen Rooms' with 'Rates are per night, before tax, and they move with the calendar — what is below is the everyday number', from The Cedar Room ('Eight of the fourteen are this') to The Bunk Room, under 'Boutique Hotel in East Austin'
  3. 03

What the rate includes, and the house rules before anyone has to ask

Breakfast, parking, beach tags, a bicycle, the afternoon pour: a guest comparing you with a chain is comparing the whole number, so list what the rate covers and what it doesn't in one short section, and put check-in and check-out times, the cancellation terms, children and dogs beside it. In the US, lodging is taxed by the state, the county or the city, sometimes all three, and the rates differ by town, so say whether your nightly rate includes them and check with your state revenue office and your city for the rates that apply to you.

Elderbay Inn: 'Things you do not pay extra for' listing 'Beach tags for two', 'A bicycle each', 'Breakfast on the porch' and 'A parking space', then 'Before you book' with 'We close January and February', 'There is no lift', 'No dogs, sorry' and 'Children over eight'
  4. 04

A Book now button to your booking engine, and a reason to book direct

A listing site takes a set percentage of every stay it sends you; a booking on your own site costs you your booking engine's fee and nothing else. Zarla doesn't hold live room availability, which is a reservation system's job, so if you run one, point the site's Book now button straight at it and keep the stay request form for everyone else. Then give guests a reason to book direct, a breakfast, a late checkout or a rate the listing sites don't get, and say it in the first screen.

Sablecreek Cabins: 'Have the ridge to yourselves' with 'Check Dates' and 'Call (865) 555-0158', then 'How to book a cabin' under 'No deposit and no card on file. We are five cabins, not a portal.', from 'Send your dates' to 'Plans change'
  5. 05

Photos of the thing that is only yours: the house, the view, the people

A stock bed says somewhere to sleep; your piazza, your ridge at sunrise or the two of you at the door say here. Put one photo that is the stay in the first screen and a tour of the house below it, the breakfast room, the garden and the view from the best room, and replace the sample photos with yours as soon as you've shot them. Several gallery layouts, picked by the AI for your kind of business, show your work on the pages that need it.

Pemberlyn Inn: 'Four Rooms You Will Walk Through Every Day' as large tiles, The Stair Hall, The Dining Room, The Parlor and The Walled Garden, after 'Built In 1857, An Inn Since 2002' and before 'What Happened To This House' in four dates
  6. 06

Where you are, what's nearby, and the accessible rooms described

Guests plan a stay around the walk into town, the parking and the drive from the airport, so put a map, directions and the places they come to see on the page, and say the things it is fairer to say now, the stairs, the rooster, the thin wifi. In the US, the ADA's reservations rule asks a place of lodging to identify and describe the accessible features of the hotel and its guest rooms in enough detail for a guest with a disability to decide whether a room meets their needs, and to let them reserve one during the same hours and in the same manner as anyone else (an owner-occupied establishment with no more than five rooms for rent is outside the rule's definition of a place of lodging); check the ADA's rule and your state's lodging regulations for what applies to your property.

Orchardly Farm: 'What is there to do nearby?' answered with 'Strasburg is ten minutes and has the railroad; Lancaster is twenty. The rail trail runs past our far gate', and 'Things it is fairer to say now' with 'A farm is not quiet', 'The wifi is thin at the edges' and 'Bring boots', under 'Working Farm Stay in Lancaster'

Process and turnaround

How it works, and how long each step takes

For comparison, from the pages of the companies that build hotel and inn sites: 'online within days' at a hotel-website studio, a launch in 30 days at an inn marketing agency in Charleston, while the reservation platforms publish no timeline; a cost-estimate guide puts a typical hotel site at 5–14 weeks from first brief to launch and a bed and breakfast site at 3–9 weeks.

  1. About a minute

    1. The brief

Finish one sentence about your place: how many rooms, what the rate includes and where you are.

  2. About 30 seconds

    2. First design

Zarla's AI designs your home page with call buttons and a quote form, then adds pages for your rooms, your breakfast and dining, and the places guests come to see, up to your plan's page limit.

  3. As long as you like

    3. Change it

Click any section to put your own rooms, rates and photos in. Or type it: "add a Garden Room card with its rate and a photo of the window seat."

  4. The same day

    4. Launch

What's included

What you get from your first brief

  • The design. Layout, colors, fonts and photos picked for a hotel, inn or bed and breakfast.
  • The words. Headlines, service descriptions and FAQs written from your brief. Edit any of it.
  • Service and area pages. Pages for your rooms, your breakfast and dining, and the places guests come to see.
  • Quote request form. A guest tells you the dates they want, how many are coming and the room that appeals, and it lands in your leads inbox, with an email alert. Customers can attach up to five photos of the job to the form, so you can often price it from the photos instead of a site visit. The form doesn't work out a price for you — you read the request and quote it yourself. Then send your quote from Zarla as one link: the customer accepts it online, and Zarla drafts the invoice for what they chose.
  • Tap-to-call buttons. On every page, for the guest who'd rather ask about a date out loud.
  • Google groundwork. Titles, descriptions, business markup and a sitemap on every page, and fast pages on phones.
  • Your Google reviews and listing. Connect your Business Profile and your rating, reviews and map show on the site.
  • Hosting on Google Cloud, with SSL. Nothing to set up.Premium
  • Your own domain. Connect the one you have or buy one inside Zarla.Premium

Revisions

No revision rounds. No hourly rate.

A hotel-website studio sells new photos, seasonal promotions and content changes through an optional care plan with no published price; the reservation platforms let you change rooms, rates and photos yourself inside the subscription, from $50 a month at one and €11 a month at another; a cost-estimate guide puts a hotel site's hosting, tools and maintenance at $60 to $400 a month. With Zarla you make the changes yourself, whenever you want.

The honest part

What an agency does that Zarla doesn't

Zarla does the design part of an agency's job with AI. Here's what you'd still be paying people for.

  • A strategy call about your market and your competitors
  • Original photos of your team, vans and jobs. Zarla uses your photos or stock.
  • Copy written from interviewing you. Zarla writes from your brief, and you edit it.
  • Monthly SEO campaigns, link building and ranking reports
  • Running your Google Ads and Local Services Ads
  • One named person accountable, on the phone
  • Custom features beyond Zarla's sections

Questions hotels, inns and bed and breakfasts ask

Is Zarla a web design agency?

No. Zarla is AI. It does the design part of an agency's job, the layout, words, pages and forms, from a one-sentence brief. There's no designer on the other end. If you want a person for marketing or SEO, Zarla partners are independent agencies and freelancers who work on Zarla sites.

How much does hotel website design cost?

Web designers and platforms that publish prices for hotel, inn and bed and breakfast sites charge $700 for a starter site at a hotel-website studio, from $50 a month at a reservation platform with a template website inside the subscription, €11 to €41 a month at another with a free one-room tier, and $16 or $25 a month on a website builder's paid plans (turnkey builds from $300); the agencies that build for inns quote after a call or a form. A cost guide puts a freelancer's hotel site at $4,350 to $17,400 and an agency's at $10,150 to $40,600, and a bed and breakfast site at $2,600 to $21,750. Designing and previewing on Zarla is free; you choose a Premium or Business plan when you publish.

What should a hotel website have?

A check-dates form in the first screen, every room with its photo, bed and nightly rate, what the rate includes, check-in and check-out times and the cancellation terms, a Book now button to your booking engine if you run one, photos of the house and the view, a map with directions and what's nearby, and your Google reviews. In the US, lodging taxes are set by the state, the county and the city, so say whether your rate includes them, and the ADA's reservations rule asks a place of lodging to describe its accessible rooms in enough detail for a guest to judge them and to let them be reserved the same way as any other room; check with your state revenue office and the ADA's rule for what applies to you. Zarla adds room, dining and area pages from your brief, up to your plan's page limit. Customers can attach up to five photos of the job to the form, so you can often price it from the photos instead of a site visit. The form doesn't work out a price for you — you read the request and quote it yourself.

How long does a hotel website take?

The companies that publish timelines for hotel and inn sites say online within days at a hotel-website studio and live in 30 days at an inn marketing agency, and the reservation platforms publish no timeline; a cost guide says 5–14 weeks for a hotel site and 3–9 weeks for a bed and breakfast. Zarla's first design takes about 30 seconds; after your changes, you can publish the same day on a paid plan.

Can guests book a room on the site?

They can ask, and if you run a reservation system they can book. Contact, quote-request, callback and booking forms are generated for your industry; describe any other form and the AI builds it, with every submission routed to your inbox. Zarla's first draft ships a stay request form; ask it in chat to add arrival, nights and guests. Zarla doesn't hold live room availability or take the room payment, which is a reservation system's job; if you use one, the site's Book now button links straight to it.

What does a direct booking save me?

The biggest listing site describes its commission as a set percentage of the total booking amount for each reservation it sends you, with the exact percentage depending on your country, your property type and the agreement you signed, and the others charge their own way; a booking on your own site costs you your booking engine's fee, if you run one, and nothing else. A rate, a breakfast or a late checkout that only direct guests get is what moves the booking to your site, so say it in the first screen.

Can guests ask about dates by message?

Yes. A WhatsApp chat button on every published page: switch it on from the Apps page, enter your number, and visitors open a WhatsApp chat with you; taps are counted in analytics. Guests ask about rooms and dates by message, and the stay request form and the call button stay beside it for everyone else.

Can I show every room with its own rate?

Yes. Each design on this page lists the rooms as cards with a name, a line about the bed and the bathroom and the rate per night; click a card to change the words or the number, or type it, and the page updates when you publish. Keep the everyday rate on the page and say when it moves.

I already have a hotel website. Can I move it?

Yes. Zarla keeps your old page addresses where it can and redirects the ones that change, helping you keep the Google standing you've built.

Before you spend $5,000 on a website and SEO agency, give Zarla 30 seconds.

Finish the sentence with your town. Zarla's AI designs your site from it.
