Own a domain at GoDaddy? Connecting it to your Zarla site is a copy-paste job: Zarla shows you exactly which settings to add, you paste them into GoDaddy, done.
Step 1 — Get your records from Zarla
- In the sidebar, click Site settings → Domain → Manage domain →.
- Click Connect existing and type your domain.
- Zarla shows the three records to add (one points your domain at Zarla, one covers "www", one proves you own the domain). Keep this tab open.
Step 2 — Add them at GoDaddy
- Log in to GoDaddy and go to My Products, then DNS (Manage DNS) for your domain.
- Under Records, add each record exactly as Zarla shows it, clicking Save after each.
- If there's an existing record of the same type pointing somewhere else (GoDaddy often adds a "Parked" one), delete or replace it — old records fight with new ones.
Step 3 — Verify in Zarla
Back in Zarla, click I've updated my DNS records. Verification usually completes within minutes, but changes can take up to 48 hours to spread across the internet — Zarla keeps checking and finishes the secure-lock (HTTPS) setup automatically.
