The easiest way to get your own domain is to buy it right inside Zarla — no settings to copy, no other account to manage. It connects itself.
Included with your plan: on 12-month and longer plans, your first year's domain registration is free.
Buy your domain
- In the sidebar, click Site settings → Domain → Manage domain →.
- Click Buy a domain and search for the name you want.
- Pick your favorite from the available options and complete the purchase.
- That's it — Zarla registers the domain, points it at your site, and sets up the secure lock icon (HTTPS). Already bought your domain from Zarla? Then there's nothing else to configure — it's connected.
Choosing a good domain
- Shorter is better — easy to say over the phone, easy to type.
- .com first if it's available; local endings (like .com.au or .co.uk) are great for local businesses too.
- Avoid hyphens and numbers — they get mistyped and misheard.
- Your business name is usually the right answer. If it's taken, try adding your trade or city (e.g. `smithplumbingaustin.com`).
