Porkbun domains connect to Zarla in a few minutes — one gotcha to know about their default records.
Step 1 — Get your records from Zarla
- In the sidebar, click Site settings → Domain → Manage domain →.
- Click Connect existing and type your domain.
- Zarla shows the three records to add. Keep this tab open.
Step 2 — Add them at Porkbun
- Log in to Porkbun and open Domain Management.
- Click your domain to expand its details, then open DNS Records (the DNS/Edit option).
- Porkbun tip: new domains come with default records pointing at Porkbun's parking page (often ALIAS and CNAME records covering your whole domain). Delete those first — they conflict with the new setup.
- Add each record exactly as Zarla shows it.
Step 3 — Verify in Zarla
Back in Zarla, click I've updated my DNS records. Verification usually completes within minutes; allow up to 48 hours for changes to spread. Zarla sets up HTTPS automatically.
