Update your payment method

Your card details live in a secure Stripe portal — Zarla never stores your card number. Updating takes a minute.

After a failed renewal

If a renewal payment didn't go through, your website stays live while we retry, and you'll see a notice on your dashboard (and in the editor):

  1. Tap Update my card on the notice. The same button is on the Billing page, next to the plan marked Payment failed, and in Site settings → Plan.
  2. Enter the new card on Stripe's secure page and save it.
  3. You're brought back to Billing and we try the payment again straight away. If it goes through, the notice disappears and your plan shows as active. If the new card is declined too, Billing tells you, and you can try another card.

If your bank asks you to approve the payment, Billing shows an Approve the payment with your bank link — follow it to finish.

Change the card at any other time

  1. In the sidebar, click Site settings, then in the Plan section click Manage all sites → to open the Billing page.
  2. Click Invoices & card. This opens your secure billing portal.
  3. Update your payment method there. The next renewal charges the new card automatically.

The same portal shows your past invoices and receipts — handy at tax time.

Still stuck?

If your plan still shows Payment failed a day after you updated the card, contact support and we'll fix it up.
