If you bought a domain through Wix, you can point it at your Zarla site — no Wix website needed.
Step 1 — Get your records from Zarla
- In the sidebar, click Site settings → Domain → Manage domain →.
- Click Connect existing and type your domain.
- Zarla shows the three records to add. Keep this tab open.
Step 2 — Add them at Wix
- Log in to Wix and go to Domains (under your account menu).
- Click the … menu next to your domain and choose Manage DNS Records.
- Add each record exactly as Zarla shows it, saving as you go.
- If the domain is currently attached to a Wix site or parked, remove the old records of the same type so they don't conflict.
Wix tip: DNS editing requires the domain to be using Wix's own nameservers (the default). If you previously pointed it elsewhere, update the records wherever your nameservers live.
Step 3 — Verify in Zarla
Back in Zarla, click I've updated my DNS records. Most domains verify within minutes; allow up to 48 hours for changes to spread. Zarla sets up HTTPS automatically once verified.
