A payment link is the fastest way to get paid: type an amount, get a link, text it to your customer — they pay by card in seconds. Perfect for deposits, quick jobs, and "just send me something I can pay".
First time? Connect payments once via Get Paid → Get paid — see Sell products & take payments.
Create one
- Click Get Paid in the sidebar, then Payment Links.
- Enter the amount, optionally add What's this for? (your customer sees it at checkout — "Deposit for Saturday's job" beats a bare number).
- Click Create Link and share it however you like — text, email, WhatsApp, an invoice chat thread.
When to use which
- Payment link — one-off amounts, deposits, over-the-phone sales. Fastest.
- Invoice — when the customer needs a proper document with line items, terms, and automatic reminders.
- Products on your site — when people should buy without talking to you.
