Nine times out of ten, this is the same simple thing: edits save to your draft, and the live site only updates when you publish again.
Fix it in 10 seconds
- Open Edit Site.
- Click Publish in the top-right, then Publish Changes.
- Give it a few seconds, then check your live site again.
Every future edit works the same way: edit → happy with it → Publish again. Your draft can be as messy as you like in between; visitors never see it.
Still seeing the old version?
- Hard-refresh the page. Your browser may be showing a saved copy. On Windows press Ctrl+Shift+R; on Mac press Cmd+Shift+R. On your phone, try a private/incognito window.
- Check you're looking at the right address. If you recently connected a custom domain, your Zarla address and your domain are the same site — but an old website at your domain may still be showing if the domain settings haven't finished updating (that can take up to 48 hours).
- Check which site you edited. If you have more than one site in Zarla, the site switcher in the top-left corner shows which one you're editing.
If none of that explains it, contact support with your site address and what you changed — we'll take a look.
