Choose search terms for your pages

A search term is what a customer types into Google — "emergency electrician austin", "dog groomer near me". Aiming each page of your site at one clear term is how pages earn their spot in results.

Set your terms

  1. Click Get Found in the sidebar, then Search Terms.
  2. Your pages and their search terms lists every page with its current Google title. Click a page to review it, and use + Add term to set the term that page should chase.
  3. Good targets are specific: your service + your area ("residential electrical austin"), not just your trade ("electrician"). One clear term per page beats five vague ones.

Your scoreboard

Once your site is published, this page becomes your Google scoreboard — you'll see how your pages perform for their terms over time. New sites take a few weeks to start registering; the trend matters more than any single day.

Want to rank for more terms?

More pages. Each service page or area page you add is another page that can chase another term — that's the compounding move for local visibility.
