Get found on Google

Customers can't find you on Google yet? Zarla's Get Found tool is your built-in Google coach. It scores how easy your business is to find, and walks you through exactly what it takes to show up when locals search — no SEO knowledge needed.

Use Get Found

  1. Click Get Found in the sidebar. On a phone, tap More in the bar at the bottom, then Get Found. (Your site needs to be published first: Google can only rank live sites.)
  2. The Overview shows your visibility score and a "do this next" list. Work through it top to bottom — each item explains why it matters and how to do it.
  3. Get Found's other pages go deeper. Once Get Found is open, they're listed under it in the sidebar. On a phone, tap More again to see them.
    • Google Business: connect and manage your Google Business Profile, the listing that appears on Google Maps.
    • Website: checks your site's content and structure.
    • Reviews: collect and show customer reviews (a big ranking factor for local businesses).
    • Listings: get your business into online directories.
    • Search Terms: the words people type into Google, and whether your pages are set up to win them. Connect Google Search Console here to see the real searches that show your site, and where you rank. Google asks you to approve Zarla first, and some sites need one extra step: see Connect Google Search Console.
    • AI Assistants: when someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI for a business like yours, does your name come up?
    • Site Move: moving from an old website? See below.

What Zarla already handles

Every Zarla site ships with the technical work done: fast pages, mobile-friendly design, sitemaps, and the behind-the-scenes tags Google reads. Your job is the business side — reviews, your Google Business Profile, and good page content — and Get Found walks you through it.

Be patient — and consistent

New sites typically take a few weeks to start appearing in Google, and a few months to climb. The businesses that win are the ones that keep collecting reviews and adding service pages.

Switching from an old website? Use Get Found → Site Move so Google transfers your existing rankings to your new Zarla site instead of starting from scratch.
