A domain registered at Squarespace (including domains that moved there from Google Domains) can point at your Zarla site — you don't need a Squarespace website to use it.
Step 1 — Get your records from Zarla
- In the sidebar, click Site settings → Domain → Manage domain →.
- Click Connect existing and type your domain.
- Zarla shows the three records to add. Keep this tab open.
Step 2 — Add them at Squarespace
- Log in to Squarespace and open your Domains dashboard.
- Click your domain, then open its DNS settings.
- Under custom records, add each record exactly as Zarla shows it.
- If the domain was parked or pointed at a Squarespace site, remove the old records of the same type so they don't conflict.
Had a Google Domains account? Google's domains were moved to Squarespace — sign in at Squarespace with the same Google account and your domain will be listed there.
Step 3 — Verify in Zarla
Back in Zarla, click I've updated my DNS records. Most domains verify within minutes; allow up to 48 hours for changes to spread. HTTPS is set up automatically.
