You can move your whole site onto any of Zarla's designs at any time — colors and fonts come across everywhere, and section layouts on the home page and your inner pages (blog posts and landing pages keep their layout), while your words, photos, services, forms and pages stay exactly as they are. No made-up text is added — at most a matching stock photo fills an empty picture spot — and none of your content is removed.
Try a design on your site
- In the sidebar, click Edit Site.
- In the editor's left panel, click Design, then Change design.
- Find a look three ways — none of them need typing:
- Browse by look — tap a pill such as *Bold*, *Elegant* or *Warm* to see every design with that feel, across every industry.
- Scroll — designs made for your kind of business come first, then popular designs, then every industry.
- Search — type an industry or a design name.
- Tap a design. Your site appears in it straight away, with your own name, words and photos in place. Tap another design to compare — each try starts from your original site, so tries never stack.
- Use the page menu at the top to check your Services or About page in the new look before you decide.
- Choose Keep this design or Go back. Go back puts your site back exactly as it was.
What Keep does
- Zarla saves a backup of your site first — you can restore it any time from Backups.
- The design's colors, fonts and layouts are applied to every page. Your content is untouched.
- Sections the design has that your site has no content for are left out — no made-up content lands on your site. Add them later with + Add section if you want them.
- Your own sections that the design has no spot for are kept lower on the page; move or remove them as you like.
- One Undo reverses the whole change.
- If you'd rather keep your original colors on the new layout, tap Use my brand colors instead in the chat.
On a live site
Changing your design only changes your draft. Your live site stays as it is until you publish.
Tips
- You can also type "change the look" or "try a different design" in the chat — the design browser opens.
- Designs made for your industry fit your pages best; a design from another industry still works with your content.
- Fine-tune colors and fonts afterwards in the same Design panel — see Changing colors and Changing fonts.
