Key takeaways

  • Wix scored highest: 15 of 18 points across nine tests.
  • Pick by what matters most: if getting found on Google matters most to you, Zarla.
  • Zarla, which is ours, placed second of five, with 13 points; its weak spots are in the table like everyone else's.
  • None of the five gets a tick on "Local search set up for you".
  • Every competitor verdict comes from the builder's own pages, with the date we read it. When we asked ChatGPT, it named three of these builders, Zarla in one of its two answers.

What's the best website builder for a gymnastics club?

For most gymnastics clubs, Wix is the best website builder: it scored highest, 15 of 18 across the nine tests we ran on five builders, and it does the most for class sign-ups, tuition and camps.

If getting found on Google matters most to you, pick Zarla.

The full scores are below, with every builder's weak spot, ours included.

Zarla for gymnastics clubs, in plain facts

Zarla is an AI website builder for small businesses. Describe your gymnastics club in a sentence and it writes the whole site, every page and every word, in about 30 seconds; after that you change it by typing what you want.

  • Price: Free to build and preview. You pay when you publish, on the Premium plan, which includes booking, the leads inbox and invoices.
  • Page speed: in our sample of real sites (Google PageSpeed, measured September 28, 2026), Zarla had the fastest median of the five builders here, 86 on phone and 99 on desktop. The samples differ (theirs are sites that rank on Google, ours random customer sites), as the method below explains.

No class schedule yet: a trial class or a private lesson books as an appointment time, not as a place in a class with spots left.

No monthly tuition billing yet: you link or embed the class software that bills your families.

No events section yet: you type your dates into a section and keep them current by chat, and tickets or RSVPs run on a service you link or embed.

In this comparison: second of five, with 13 of 18 points.

THE SCORES

How do website builders for gymnastics clubs compare?

THE LIST

The best website builders for gymnastics clubs, ranked

  1. 1

    Wix

    Best for

Owners who care most about class sign-ups, monthly tuition and camps.

    What it costs

Core, the cheapest plan with bookings, is $29/mo billed yearly. Light is $17/mo without bookings, and there's a free plan on a wixsite.com address. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • An AI builder that writes your pages from a description
    • Aria, an AI agent in the Harmony editor that edits the site and adds pages by chat
    • Wix Bookings with online payments and deposits
    The Catch

Bookings need the Core plan rather than the cheapest one, and pages for each town you serve are yours to write.

  2. 2

    Zarla

    Best for

Owners who care most about getting found on Google.

    What it costs

Free to build and preview. You pay when you publish, on the Premium plan, which includes booking, the leads inbox and invoices.

    Features
    • Describe your club in a sentence and Zarla writes a complete first draft in about 30 seconds
    • Families book a trial class or a private lesson online, synced to your Google Calendar
    • Type changes in plain words, like a new session's class times, and the site updates
    The Catch

There's no class schedule, no monthly tuition billing and no events section yet: a trial class books as an appointment, tuition runs in the class software you link, and camps are typed into a section with sign-up by link. A club's first draft has no town pages, and Zarla is newer than the big names.

  3. 3

    GoDaddy

    Best for

Handy if you already get your domain and email from GoDaddy.

    What it costs

Websites + Marketing plans are priced by country, and GoDaddy's page didn't show us a US price, so check it for yours. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • Airo writes a first website for your business in Websites + Marketing
    • Online appointments with a deposit
    • Photo attachments on the contact form
    The Catch

Editing by chat, and asking the AI for new pages later, happen in Airo AI Builder, a separate GoDaddy product with its own credits; in Websites + Marketing, pages for each town you serve are yours to write.

  4. 3

    Squarespace

    Best for

Good if polished design matters most and you don't mind adding a separate booking tool.

    What it costs

Basic is $19/mo and Core $29/mo, billed yearly, after a 14-day free trial. Online booking is a separate Acuity Scheduling subscription. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • Blueprint AI writes a multi-page starting site
    • Design-led templates
    • Invoices and online payments on every plan
    The Catch

Online booking is a second subscription, Acuity Scheduling, on top of the website plan, and it's managed in a different place.

  5. 3

    WordPress.com

    Best for

For owners who want full control and don't mind choosing and looking after plugins.

    What it costs

Personal is $4/mo billed yearly; form file uploads need Business, $25/mo billed yearly. Plugins can add their own cost. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • An AI website builder on paid plans
    • An AI assistant that edits and creates pages, on every paid plan
    • Thousands of plugins
    The Catch

Booking, reviews and invoices each come from a plugin you choose, may pay for and keep updated, so the setup and upkeep are on you. Photo uploads on forms need the Business plan.

What should a gymnastics club website include?

A parent choosing a club wants to know which class fits their child's age and level, when it runs, what it costs and how to try it, and the site has to answer all four before the parking-lot conversation does.

  • Classes by age and level. Preschool, recreational, tumbling, ninja and team, each with its days, times and what a child needs to start, and how many spots are left.
  • Tuition and fees. Monthly tuition per class, the annual registration fee and what a trial costs, on the page rather than behind a phone call.
  • A trial class to book. One button on every page for a free or paid trial, with the form kept to a name, the child's age and a good time.
  • Camps, parties and meets. School-break and summer camps and birthday parties with dates and sign-up, and the competition calendar for team families.
  • Coaches and the gym. Each coach with a photo and their certifications, real photos of the floor and the pit, and your safety and make-up policies in plain words.

How did we score the website builders?

The 9 tests, and what it takes to get a tick:

  • A class schedule parents sign up from. Gymnastics runs on classes by age and level, each with a cap on spots. Tick: a class schedule on the site where a parent books a place in a class with limited spots, built in. Dash: appointments only, a second subscription, an app or a plugin.
  • Monthly tuition billed automatically. Tuition is monthly and the roster changes every session. Tick: parents sign up on the site and are charged automatically every month, built in. Dash: an app, a plugin or another company's checkout.
  • Camps, parties and meets with sign-up. School-break camps, birthday parties and home meets fill from the website. Tick: an events list with dates built in, where parents sign up or pay on the site. Dash: a calendar or list you keep by hand, with sign-ups through another company's tool or a pasted embed. Cross: no way to list events.
  • Finished first draft. You're on the floor until the last class leaves. The website shouldn't take your Sunday. Tick: it writes the whole site, pages and words, from a description of your business. Dash: templates, or AI that only writes some of it.
  • Edit by chat, new pages by AI. Session dates, class times and tuition change every season. Updating them should take a sentence. Tick: you type a change and the site updates, and you can ask for a new page and get one.
  • Local search set up for you. A parent new to town searches "gymnastics near me" and picks from the first clubs that show their classes and their address. Tick: a map of the areas you cover, a page for each town, and your Google reviews on the site, all built in. Dash: some of that, or only with add-ons.
  • Search coaching. Preschool gymnastics, tumbling, ninja and team are separate searches, and each is a page worth having. Tick: something that checks your site and tells you what to fix, plus a Google Search Console connection that turns your search data into ideas for new pages. Dash: one of the two.
  • Fast pages, measured. Parents look up classes on a phone in the school parking lot, between pick-ups. We measured this ourselves with Google's PageSpeed test on real sites built with each builder. Tick: a typical phone score of 90 or more, which Google calls good. Dash: 50 to 89. Cross: under 50.
  • Leads, quotes, invoices and payments together. Team fees, a birthday party deposit and the invoice, in one place with every inquiry beside them. Tick: a leads inbox, quotes your customers accept online, invoices and online payments, all built in. Dash: some of them, or only with plugins.

How we picked them. When we asked ChatGPT "best website builder for gymnastics clubs" on November 2, 2026, twice, its answers named Wix, Squarespace and Zarla. Zarla was in one of its two answers, not both. We score the general builders that appear on every page in this series, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy (its Websites + Marketing builder) and WordPress.com, whether ChatGPT named them this time or not. Zarla is ours. Gemini added Acuity Scheduling, Playpass and MyGymDesk, and Google's AI Mode named Zarla, Wix and Squarespace; the class software the answers cite, iClassPro, Jackrabbit, SportsEngine Motion and Playpass, is answered below rather than scored, and Gymdesk, which Google's AI Overview named for gymnastics clubs on November 3, 2026, is scored on our gyms page.

How we scored them. Same tests for everyone, each worth the same. We checked every answer on the builder's own website and help pages on September 28, 2026, and the class schedule parents sign up from test on October 12, 2026, and the monthly tuition billed automatically test on October 12, 2026, and the camps, parties and meets with sign-up test on October 24, 2026, and the leads, quotes, invoices and payments together test on October 4, 2026. We re-read Wix's and WordPress.com's class, membership and events pages and Squarespace's membership page on November 3, 2026, and the verdicts held; godaddy.com, Acuity's help pages and Squarespace's calendar-pages article refused automated reads that day, so those answers keep their earlier dates, and GoDaddy's were read as Google indexes them. When two builders tie on points, the one with fewer crosses goes first.

How we measured speed. Google's PageSpeed test, three runs each on phone and desktop, on up to ten real sites per builder. For the others we used the first sites built with them that came up in Google for home-service businesses in five US cities (for WordPress, any WordPress site). Zarla sites don't rank in those searches yet, so we picked ten at random from our customers' published sites and don't name them. It's a sample, not a promise about any one site.

What we didn't score. Price, because every plan bundles different things (each builder's own price is on its card, and Zarla's is on our pricing page), and how long it takes to get a site live, which we plan to time and add here. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.

Other trades. The same tests for cleaning businesses, junk removal companies, car detailing businesses, pressure washing businesses, plumbers, pet sitters and dog walkers, handyman businesses, construction companies, moving companies, remodelers, towing companies, tree service companies, painters, electricians, HVAC companies, roofing companies, landscapers, Christmas light installers, window tinting businesses, mobile mechanics, pool service companies, home care agencies, blinds and shutters companies, hair salons, restaurants, auto repair shops, barbershops, gyms, dog groomers, daycares, solar companies, life coaches, appliance repair businesses, notaries, consultants, tutoring businesses, laundromats, IT services companies, day spas, locksmiths, artists, nonprofits, therapists, musicians, car washes, gutter cleaning companies, wedding planners, food trucks, jewelry businesses, farms, tax preparers, churches, DJs, insurance agents, marketing agencies, videographers, architects, engineering firms, luxury real estate agents, bars, car dealerships, graphic designers, online stores, foundations, tattoo artists, software companies, retail stores, photographers, massage therapists, dentists, chiropractors, doctors, yoga studios, pharmacies, financial advisors, web designers, content creators.

Questions owners ask

What should a gymnastics club website have?

Classes by age and level with their days and times, monthly tuition and the registration fee, a trial class to book on every page, camps and birthday parties with sign-up, the competition calendar, your coaches with their certifications, real photos of the gym, and your make-up and safety policies. The class, tuition and events tests above show which builders do those without another tool; our gymnastics website design page and gymnastics website gallery show finished sites to compare.

Do I need iClassPro, Jackrabbit or SportsEngine Motion as well as a website?

If parents enroll and pay you monthly, probably: that's class-management software, and a website comes with it. iClassPro calls itself "The #1 Class Management Software for Gymnastics, Cheer, Dance and Swim Schools" ("Manage Classes, Camps, Private Lessons, Birthday Parties, Events, Student Attendance, Staff, Waivers, Email, SMS and more."); its Signature plan is $139 USD a month per location and Elite $199, both with no commitment, and Premium $299 on a twelve-month commitment, and every plan lists "1 DIY website per account/location included", with an "Optional Kickstart Package starting at $899*". Jackrabbit Class starts at $49 a month and "Pricing is based on total student count at the end of each month." SportsEngine Motion sells it the other way round: "Get started for just $295.", "No monthly subscription fees.", then a "1% technology fee" and a "2.9% + $0.30" processing fee on what parents pay, with a "Business website" among its features. Playpass, which Gemini named on November 2, 2026 and ChatGPT read, gives every club a website on its free plan ("Every organization gets a website on the Free plan, in any style, with no time limit and no credit card.") with "a 3% Playpass fee on online payments"; its paid plans showed Australian prices from here ("Paid plans start at A$12.50/month."), so check the US figure on its page. We read all four on November 3, 2026, and none is scored here: they run the roster, this page scores the website. If your enrollments already live in one of them, link its parent portal from whichever builder you choose; the class and tuition rows above show which builders take class sign-ups and monthly billing on the website itself.

Which website builder do ChatGPT, Gemini and Google recommend for a gymnastics club?

They mostly agree on the names, and Zarla is among them, which we say with the caveat that it's ours. When we asked ChatGPT "best website builder for gymnastics clubs" on November 2, 2026, twice with web search on, it named Wix and Squarespace both times and Zarla third in one of its two answers ("Zarla - AI-generated gymnastics websites. - Trial-class booking. - Contact forms and lead tracking. - Quick setup for smaller clubs."), reading our gyms guide and our gymnastics builder page; its other sources were class software (iClassPro, SportsEngine Motion, Playpass), WareSport's buyer's guide and a software directory. Gemini named Squarespace, Acuity Scheduling, Wix and then "Playpass / Zarla / MyGymDesk: These niche or AI-driven platforms specialize in small sports leagues and club facilities."; MyGymDesk is Indian gym software, priced in rupees, and not Gymdesk. Google's AI Mode put Zarla first ("Best for Fast Setup & Lead Generation: Zarla - Best for: Club owners who want a completely finished, industry-specific site up in seconds without wrestling with templates or design tools."), then Wix and Squarespace, and on November 3, 2026 Google's AI Overview for the same search opened with "Choosing the best website builder for a gymnastics club depends on whether you need a dedicated business-management platform (handling class schedules, parent sign-ups, and tuition billing) or a pure visual website builder." and named Zarla under "Best AI & Quick-Launch Builder", Gymdesk and SportsEngine Motion for all-in-one management, Squarespace and Wix for design, and Uplifter, Class Manager and TeamLinkt for club management. No page the assistants read is a gymnastics builder roundup. Squarespace's own "7 Best Website Builders for Sports & Fitness Businesses" (Ryan Kane, November 18, 2025) ranks Squarespace first and says "we've gathered details on popular sports and fitness website builders"; OfferingTree's "Best website builder for studios that run classes" (Hannah McWhorter, updated September 28, 2026, "Prices checked September 10, 2026") says "Wix, if you want the class schedule inside your site on one subscription." and "Squarespace Basic ($19) adds a 2% fee on site sales, so most studios use Core."; Yola's martial-arts list (updated October 8, 2026), which AI Mode read, ranks Yola first and is straight that on Yola "there's no native booking" and "Class bookings, testing fees and monthly tuition run through your studio software"; WareSport's "Gymnastics Management Software: 2026 Buyer's Guide" (Kanksha Bilimoriya, updated October 23, 2026) says "Gymnastics software should handle classes by level, tuition and makeups, skill tracking, and a parent portal in one system, not four separate tools." We read them all on November 3, 2026; Acuity Scheduling, Playpass, MyGymDesk, Gymdesk, SportsEngine Motion, iClassPro, Uplifter, Class Manager, TeamLinkt, OfferingTree, Fitune, Hostinger and Yola aren't scored here (Gymdesk is, on our gyms page). On this page five builders are scored on the same nine tests, Zarla included, and the order above is computed from them.

Should a gymnastics club hire a gymnastics website agency instead of using a builder?

Page one of Google for this search on November 3, 2026 had no gymnastics builder roundup on it: Pinterest design ideas, Facebook threads, a gymnastics-software directory, two Reddit threads, three lists written for personal trainers and one for gym platforms, so the question is a fair one. There are three routes. An agency builds it for a fee: The Gymnastics Marketing Company, which Gemini read, says "Get a Website You're Proud Of" and prices a landing page at $975 and a full site at $5,000, with no billing terms shown. Class software with a website attached is the second route, in the question above. The third is a builder you run yourself, which is what this page scores: the first draft and the inquiry form come from the builder, on Zarla so does a trial class parents book online, and the classes, the coaches and the photos of the floor come from you. We read the agency's page on November 3, 2026; it isn't scored here. Pick an agency if nobody at the club will touch the site and a one-off fee suits; pick from the table above if you want it live this week and would rather spend the fee on the foam pit.

Is this the right guide for a gym, a dance studio or a cheer program?

For a dance studio or a cheer program, yes: classes by age and level, monthly tuition and camps are the same three tests, and the describe box takes any of them. For a gym or a fitness studio, read our best website builders for gyms instead: it scores a class schedule people book from and memberships billed monthly, adds Gymdesk, which is gym software with a website, and leaves out camps and parties. A club that runs adult open gym beside its kids' program reads this page; the tests here were written for parents signing children up.

Can parents book a trial class online?

On most of them. Zarla, Wix (from its Core plan) and GoDaddy take bookings on the website plan; Squarespace needs Acuity Scheduling, a separate subscription, and WordPress.com a booking plugin. A trial class on Zarla books as an appointment time; a place in a recurring class with a cap on spots is the classes test above, where the marks differ.

How long does it take to make a gymnastics club website?

With Zarla, the first draft takes about 30 seconds: every page, written for your gymnastics club, including a contact form and a map with directions. What's left is your class times, your coaches and photos of the gym. Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy and WordPress.com can also write a first draft with AI; how long the rest takes depends on how much you set up yourself. We haven't timed them side by side yet.

Which website builders let parents sign up for a class online?

Wix and GoDaddy have it built in. It takes another tool or a workaround on Zarla (trial classes book as appointments; no class schedule); Squarespace (group classes in Acuity, a separate subscription); WordPress.com (with a booking plugin). We read each on the builder's own pages on October 12, 2026.

Which website builders take sign-ups for camps and birthday parties?

Wix and GoDaddy have it built in. It takes another tool or a workaround on Zarla (no events section; dates typed in, tickets by link or embed); Squarespace (calendar pages list events; no RSVP or tickets); WordPress.com (Eventbrite block; calendars from plugins). We read each on the builder's own pages on October 24, 2026.

How much does a gymnastics club website cost?

Building and previewing one can cost nothing on most builders; a live site on your own domain costs money on every builder here. Wix: Core, the cheapest plan with bookings, is $29/mo billed yearly. Light is $17/mo without bookings, and there's a free plan on a wixsite.com address. GoDaddy: Websites + Marketing plans are priced by country, and GoDaddy's page didn't show us a US price, so check it for yours. Squarespace: Basic is $19/mo and Core $29/mo, billed yearly, after a 14-day free trial. Online booking is a separate Acuity Scheduling subscription. WordPress.com: Personal is $4/mo billed yearly; form file uploads need Business, $25/mo billed yearly. Plugins can add their own cost. Zarla is free to build and preview, and you pay when you publish, on the Premium plan. Each price is the builder's own, read on its pricing or help pages (September 28, 2026); check it for your country before you buy.

Is Wix good for a gymnastics club?

Yes: Wix placed first of five here, with 15 of 18 points. Of the tests that are particular to gymnastics clubs, it gets a tick on "A class schedule parents sign up from", "Monthly tuition billed automatically" and "Camps, parties and meets with sign-up". The catch: bookings need the Core plan rather than the cheapest one, and pages for each town you serve are yours to write.
