COMPARED SEPTEMBER 2026

Best website builders for yoga studios (2026)

We scored 5 website builders on the 9 things a yoga studio needs, the same way for all of them, including Zarla, which is ours.

Free to build · Pay when you publish

Key takeaways

  • Wix scored highest: 15 of 18 points across nine tests.
  • Pick by what matters most: if getting found on Google matters most to you, Zarla.
  • Zarla, which is ours, placed second of five, with 13 points; its weak spots are in the table like everyone else's.
  • None of the five gets a tick on "Local search set up for you".
  • Every competitor verdict comes from the builder's own pages, with the date we read it. When we asked ChatGPT, it named two of these builders, and not Zarla.

What's the best website builder for a yoga studio?

For most yoga studios, Wix is the best website builder: it scored highest, 15 of 18 across the nine tests we ran on five builders, and it does the most for classes, memberships and workshops.

If getting found on Google matters most to you, pick Zarla.

The full scores are below, with every builder's weak spot, ours included.

Zarla for yoga studios, in plain facts

Zarla is an AI website builder for small businesses. Describe your yoga studio in a sentence and it writes the whole site, every page and every word, in about 30 seconds; after that you change it by typing what you want.

  • Price: Free to build and preview. You pay when you publish, on the Premium plan, which includes booking, the leads inbox and invoices.
  • Page speed: in our sample of real sites (Google PageSpeed, measured September 28, 2026), Zarla had the fastest median of the five builders here, 86 on phone and 99 on desktop. The samples differ (theirs are sites that rank on Google, ours random customer sites), as the method below explains.

No class schedule yet: a class or session books as an appointment time, not as a place in a class.

No monthly membership billing yet: you link or embed the studio software that bills your members.

No events section yet: you type your dates into a section and keep them current by chat, and tickets or RSVPs run on a service you link or embed.

In this comparison: second of five, with 13 of 18 points.

THE SCORES

How do website builders for yoga studios compare?

A tick is worth 2 points, a dash 1, a cross nothing, and every test counts the same, so the most anyone can score is 18.

THE LIST

The best website builders for yoga studios, ranked

  1. 1

    Wix

    Best for

Owners who care most about class bookings, monthly memberships and workshop tickets.

    What it costs

Core, the cheapest plan with bookings, is $29/mo billed yearly. Light is $17/mo without bookings, and there's a free plan on a wixsite.com address. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • An AI builder that writes your pages from a description
    • Aria, an AI agent in the Harmony editor that edits the site and adds pages by chat
    • Wix Bookings with online payments and deposits
    The Catch

Bookings need the Core plan rather than the cheapest one, and pages for each town you serve are yours to write.

  2. 2

    Zarla

    Best for

Owners who care most about getting found on Google.

    What it costs

Free to build and preview. You pay when you publish, on the Premium plan, which includes booking, the leads inbox and invoices.

    Features
    • Describe your studio in a sentence and Zarla writes a complete first draft in about 30 seconds, classes, an intro offer and your teachers included
    • New students book a private session or an intro call online, synced to your Google Calendar, with a deposit through your own Stripe
    • Gift cards for classes, sold from the site and delivered by email
    The Catch

There's no class schedule or monthly membership billing yet, so class sign-ups and memberships run in the studio software you link; there's no events section either, so a workshop's tickets sell on a service you link; and the yoga first draft comes with a map but no town pages. Zarla is also the newest name on the page.

  3. 3

    GoDaddy

    Best for

Handy if you already get your domain and email from GoDaddy.

    What it costs

Websites + Marketing plans are priced by country, and GoDaddy's page didn't show us a US price, so check it for yours. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • Airo writes a first website for your business in Websites + Marketing
    • Online appointments with a deposit
    • Photo attachments on the contact form
    The Catch

Editing by chat, and asking the AI for new pages later, happen in Airo AI Builder, a separate GoDaddy product with its own credits; in Websites + Marketing, pages for each town you serve are yours to write.

  4. 3

    Squarespace

    Best for

Good if polished design matters most and you don't mind adding a separate booking tool.

    What it costs

Basic is $19/mo and Core $29/mo, billed yearly, after a 14-day free trial. Online booking is a separate Acuity Scheduling subscription. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • Blueprint AI writes a multi-page starting site
    • Design-led templates
    • Invoices and online payments on every plan
    The Catch

Classes book in Acuity Scheduling, a second subscription on top of the website plan; the membership runs in a member site, which gates content rather than booking anyone into a class; and its calendar pages take no bookings and no repeating events.

  5. 3

    WordPress.com

    Best for

For owners who want full control and don't mind choosing and looking after plugins.

    What it costs

Personal is $4/mo billed yearly; form file uploads need Business, $25/mo billed yearly. Plugins can add their own cost. (their pricing page, checked 28 Sept 2026)

    Features
    • An AI website builder on paid plans
    • An AI assistant that edits and creates pages, on every paid plan
    • Thousands of plugins
    The Catch

Booking, reviews and invoices each come from a plugin you choose, may pay for and keep updated, so the setup and upkeep are on you. Photo uploads on forms need the Business plan.

What should a yoga studio website include?

A first-timer wants to know which class is for beginners, what a drop-in costs, whether mats are provided and who teaches. The site answers all four above the fold on a phone, then gets them to a first class.

  • The schedule, by day. Every class with its time, its style, its level and its teacher, in a grid that reads on a phone and changes with the season.
  • Prices that take eight seconds. A drop-in, a ten-class pack, an unlimited monthly membership and the new-student offer, on one page next to the schedule.
  • Your teachers. A photo, their training and the styles they teach, so a student can pick the teacher they want.
  • Workshops, trainings and retreats. The dates, the price and a way to hold a place, for the Saturday workshop and the 200-hour training.
  • A first step, and where you are. An intro offer to book on every page, the studio's address and parking, what to bring, and real reviews from students.

How did we score the website builders?

The 9 tests, and what it takes to get a tick:

  • A class schedule students book from. Classes are the business, and a studio schedule has a cap on mats. Tick: a class schedule on the site where students book a spot in a class with limited places, built in on the website plan. Dash: appointments only, a second subscription, an app or a plugin.
  • Unlimited monthly memberships, billed automatically. An unlimited monthly membership is the steadiest money a studio has. Tick: students buy the membership on the site and are charged every month, built in on the website plan. Dash: it runs in an app, a plugin or a checkout from another company.
  • Workshops and retreats with tickets. A Saturday arm-balance workshop and a retreat in May sell by the ticket and have a date. Tick: an events section with tickets sold on the site, built in on the website plan. Dash: dates typed into a page, with tickets or sign-ups on a service you link or embed.
  • Finished first draft. You teach the 6am and the 7pm and run the desk in between. The first draft should be done before the next class starts. Tick: it writes the whole site, pages and words, from a description of your business. Dash: templates, or AI that only writes some of it.
  • Edit by chat, new pages by AI. A new teacher, a schedule change for the season, a retreat in May: each should be one typed sentence, not a weekend at a laptop. Tick: you type a change and the site updates, and you can ask for a new page and get one.
  • Local search set up for you. A new student searches for yoga near them on a Sunday night and picks the studio that shows a beginner class, a price and a way to book. Tick: a map of the areas you cover, a page for each town, and your Google reviews on the site, all built in. Dash: some of that, or only with add-ons.
  • Search coaching. Beginner yoga, hot yoga, prenatal and yin are separate searches, and each is a page worth having. Tick: something that checks your site and tells you what to fix, plus a Google Search Console connection that turns your search data into ideas for new pages. Dash: one of the two.
  • Fast pages, measured. A student checking tonight's class is on a phone in the parking lot, and a page that stalls is a reason to try the studio down the road. We measured this ourselves with Google's PageSpeed test on real sites built with each builder. Tick: a typical phone score of 90 or more, which Google calls good. Dash: 50 to 89. Cross: under 50.
  • Leads, quotes, invoices and payments together. A private-session inquiry, a corporate-class invoice and a gift card sale belong in one place, with the new-student question beside them. Tick: a leads inbox, quotes your customers accept online, invoices and online payments, all built in. Dash: some of them, or only with plugins.

How we picked them. When we asked ChatGPT "best website builder for yoga studios" on November 3, 2026, twice, its answers named Squarespace, Wix, OfferingTree, Mindbody, Yola and Momence. We score the general builders that appear on every page in this series, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy (its Websites + Marketing builder) and WordPress.com, whether ChatGPT named them this time or not. Zarla is ours. We haven't scored OfferingTree, Mindbody, Yola and Momence on this page. OfferingTree, Mindbody and Momence are studio software with a website attached, answered below in their own words rather than scored, and Yola is scored on our dog groomer, daycare, notary, tutor, car wash and farm pages; WellnessLiving and Vagaro, which Google's AI Mode named on November 3, 2026, are answered below too, and Vagaro is scored on our day spa page; Acuity, which Gemini and AI Mode named on November 2, 2026, is Squarespace's booking subscription, and Walla and MarianaTek, named once each, and Weblium, which Google showed on page one, are not scored anywhere on this site.

How we scored them. Same tests for everyone, each worth the same. We checked every answer on the builder's own website and help pages on September 28, 2026, and the class schedule students book from test on October 12, 2026, and the unlimited monthly memberships, billed automatically test on October 12, 2026, and the workshops and retreats with tickets test on October 24, 2026, and the leads, quotes, invoices and payments together test on October 4, 2026. We re-read Wix's plans page, its class, membership-plan and Wix Events articles, Squarespace's scheduling page, its Member Sites and calendar-pages articles and Acuity's group-classes article, and WordPress.com's booking plugins, Payments block, Eventbrite block and pricing pages on November 3, 2026, and the verdicts held; godaddy.com's help pages refused automated reads that day, so GoDaddy's answers were not re-read and keep their earlier dates. When two builders tie on points, the one with fewer crosses goes first.

How we measured speed. Google's PageSpeed test, three runs each on phone and desktop, on up to ten real sites per builder. For the others we used the first sites built with them that came up in Google for home-service businesses in five US cities (for WordPress, any WordPress site). Zarla sites don't rank in those searches yet, so we picked ten at random from our customers' published sites and don't name them. It's a sample, not a promise about any one site.

What we didn't score. Price, because every plan bundles different things (each builder's own price is on its card, and Zarla's is on our pricing page), and how long it takes to get a site live, which we plan to time and add here. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.

Questions owners ask

What should a yoga studio website have?

The class schedule by day with the level and the teacher, your prices from a drop-in to an unlimited monthly membership, a new-student offer, your teachers with their training, workshops and retreats with the dates, what to bring and where to park, real reviews, and a Book button on every page. The classes, memberships and workshop tests above show which builders do those without another tool. Our yoga studio website builder page covers what Zarla's first draft includes and what it doesn't.

Do I need Mindbody, OfferingTree or Momence as well as a website?

If you sell class packs and memberships and run a waitlist, probably: that's what studio software is for, and most of it comes with a website. Mindbody's pricing page says "Starting at $79 USD/month (North America and Asia), Mindbody's plans include self-serve booking, integrated payments, automated reminders and confirmations, reporting, branded booking widgets, and a Customized Website", and its own yoga list says "Every Mindbody tier includes a customizable, bookable website at no extra cost." OfferingTree's pricing page says "Plans from $26/mo" for an individual and "Plans from $100/mo" for a studio, and its own comparison says "OfferingTree Essentials is $26/month with a 2.9% transaction fee." Momence's pricing page prints no price, only "Book a Demo" and "Start free trial". WellnessLiving's pricing page lists Starter at "$69 /mo", Business at "$199 /mo" and BusinessPro at "$349 /mo" on monthly billing; Walla's starts at "$299" "/mo per location, billed monthly"; Arketa's Individual plan is "$49/mo" and its studio plans are "Custom". Vagaro, booking software with a website attached, is scored on our best website builders for day spas page. We read every page on November 3, 2026, and none of them is scored here: they run the roster, the waitlist and the billing, and this page scores the website that brings the new student in. If your bookings already live in one of them, point the Book button at its schedule; the classes and memberships rows above show how much each builder does on its own.

Which website builder do ChatGPT, Gemini and Google recommend for a yoga studio?

Squarespace and Wix, on every answer, and none of them named Zarla. When we asked ChatGPT "best website builder for yoga studios" on November 2, 2026, twice with web search on, it named Squarespace, Wix, Mindbody, Acuity and Yola, without naming Zarla in either answer; Gemini named Squarespace, Acuity, Wix and Vagaro, reading eight yoga and studio-software lists; Google's AI Mode named Squarespace, Wix, Mindbody, Vagaro and Acuity, reading a Reddit thread and Squarespace's yoga page. Asked again on November 3, 2026, ChatGPT opened one run with "my recommendation is Wix or Squarespace for most yoga studios, with OfferingTree worth considering if you want your website and yoga business management in one place." and the other with "OfferingTree for a yoga-focused business, Wix for the best traditional website builder, and Squarespace for the most beautiful website design.", naming Mindbody in both and Yola and Momence once each; Gemini named Squarespace "(Best for Design-Forward Studios)", Wix "(Best All-in-One DIY Builder)", "OfferingTree or Momence (Best Hybrid Studio Management Software)" and "Mindbody Sites (Best for Large, Established Studios)"; AI Mode sorted Squarespace and Wix under "Top General Website Builders (Best Design & Ease of Use)" and Mindbody, WellnessLiving and Vagaro under "Top Studio Management Software (Best for Classes & Memberships)". Google's AI Overview the same day named Squarespace "(Best for Brand-Forward Studios)", "Wix / Wix Studio (Best for Built-in Booking Depth)" and WordPress "(Best for Scalability & Custom Integrations)", and added that "Most active yoga studios use a specialized class management platform—such as Mindbody, Momence, MarianaTek, or Walla—to handle instructor payroll, class packs, and liability waivers." The lists behind the answers each pick a different winner. Yola's "The 5 best website builders for yoga studios" (updated September 8, 2026) ranks Yola first, "Yola is the strongest fit for a yoga studio that needs the schedule, the price list and the teacher bios live without hiring anyone.", and says of its own product "class packs and bookings are sold outside Yola, so Mindbody or Punchpass keeps your calendar and the site sends students there."; Mindbody's "Best Yoga Studio Software in 2026: 10 Tools Compared" (updated October 24, 2026) opens "Mindbody is the best all-in-one yoga studio software for studios who want to grow"; OfferingTree's "Best website builder for fitness studios (2026 pricing)" (Hannah McWhorter, updated September 28, 2026, "Prices checked September 10, 2026") answers the Wix-or-Squarespace question "Wix, if you want the class schedule inside your site on one subscription."; Website Builder Report (Matt Giles, updated April 2026) concludes "The best website builder for yoga studios is Squarespace"; Squarespace's own "7 Best Website Builders for Sports & Fitness Businesses in 2026" (Ryan Kane) ranks Squarespace first at "$16 per month" and Wix sixth at "$17 per month or limited free plan"; Santosha Marketing (Laura Campbell, a UK designer) prices Squarespace at "£12 - £29 plus VAT per month"; Snapps.ai's list (September 20, 2024) ranks Snapps.ai first; TheFlowOps' "Wix Alternatives" list (updated July 10, 2026) ranks OhhWells first and now reads "TheFlowOps is now OhhWells"; JPK Design Co (Janessa Philemon-Kerp) says "Squarespace is the strongest option for most yoga studios in 2026"; Lokuma's fitness list ranks Lokuma fifth, "Lokuma — AI-Generated Design Quality, in 10 Minutes"; and Colorlib's 27 examples record Yoga Off East and Boheme Yoga as "Built with : Squarespace". We read them all on November 3, 2026; reddit.com, the Facebook group posts and the YouTube videos the assistants cited were not read. OfferingTree, Mindbody, Momence, Yola, Acuity, Vagaro, WellnessLiving, MarianaTek, Walla, Weblium, Punchpass, OhhWells, Snapps.ai and Lokuma aren't scored here. On this page five builders are scored on the same nine tests, Zarla included, and the order above is computed from them: Wix first on points, Zarla two behind, and the fits table says which one leads on each priority.

Is Wix or Squarespace better for a yoga studio?

Wix, on these tests: 15 of 18 to Squarespace's 12. Both write a first draft with AI and both bill a membership on a schedule, Wix in a Wix Bookings membership plan, where "After checkout, clients pay weekly, monthly or yearly for their membership.", and Squarespace in a member site, where "Visitors make recurring payments to maintain access to your videos."; the three points are the class schedule, which Wix Bookings runs on its Core plan and Squarespace hands to Acuity Scheduling, a separate subscription whose help says "Use group classes to book multiple clients into one appointment.", the workshops, where Wix Events can "Create single or recurring events" and "Sell event tickets" and Squarespace's calendar pages say "Calendar pages don't support booking." and "It's not possible to set up recurring or repeating events.", and chat editing. All six pages were read on November 3, 2026. The lists split the same way: OfferingTree's answer is Wix for the schedule on one bill, Website Builder Report's and JPK Design Co's are Squarespace for the design. Every mark is in the table; a studio that already runs its schedule in Acuity can read it as 15 to 13.

Can students book a class on my yoga studio website?

On Wix and GoDaddy, built in: Wix Bookings runs classes with a maximum number of participants on its Core plan and GoDaddy takes repeating classes with a number of participants on its website plan. Squarespace books classes in Acuity Scheduling, a separate subscription, and WordPress.com with a booking plugin. Zarla books a private session or an intro call as an appointment, not a place in a class, so a studio whose classes have a cap links its studio software's schedule from the Book button. The classes row above has every mark.

Can I build a yoga studio website for free?

You can build on most of them for free, but a site on your own domain costs money everywhere. Wix has a free plan on a wixsite.com address and WordPress.com a free plan on its own address, with booking plugins and the AI builder on paid plans; Squarespace gives you a 14-day trial; Yola's own list says "Yola's free plan covers one website with two pages, 100 MB of space and the basic AI tools"; and Weblium, which Google showed on page one, says "Start for free" with "+14 days of free premium access" and prices its annual plans as "Starter is 132 USD/year (11 USD/month), and Business is 210 USD/year (17,5 USD/month)." (both read November 3, 2026). Zarla is free to build and preview, and you pay when you publish, on the Premium plan. Our free website builders comparison scores what each one lets you publish for free.

Do I need a certification or a license to open a yoga studio?

In the US, no state licenses yoga teachers, and the training most studios and insurers expect is a 200-hour teacher training registered with Yoga Alliance; our yoga studio website builder page has the detail. Registration is a floor, not a mark of quality: as one sequencing site puts it, "Registration means a school meets a published minimum standard for hours and curriculum." (read November 3, 2026). The studio itself still needs the business license your city asks of any shop, insurance, and music licensing if you play recorded music in class. Check your city's business licensing rules and your insurer's requirements before you open.

Is this the right guide for a gym or a pilates studio?

A pilates or barre studio reads this page: the tests are the same, with reformer classes in place of flow. A gym has its own page, which scores a class schedule and memberships billed monthly with Gymdesk beside the general five, and a personal trainer who sells sessions reads our life coaches guide, the closest tests to one-to-one work. A studio with a retreat or a teacher training to sell reads this page, because the workshop-tickets test is the one that decides it.

How long does it take to make a yoga studio website?

With Zarla, the first draft takes about 30 seconds: every page, written for your yoga studio, including a booking form and a map with directions. What's left is your schedule, your teachers' photos and your prices. Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy and WordPress.com can also write a first draft with AI; how long the rest takes depends on how much you set up yourself. We haven't timed them side by side yet.

Which website builders let students book a spot in a yoga class?

Wix and GoDaddy have it built in. It takes another tool or a workaround on Zarla (sessions book as appointments; no class schedule); Squarespace (group classes in Acuity, a separate subscription); WordPress.com (with a booking plugin). We read each on the builder's own pages on October 12, 2026.

Which website builders sell an unlimited monthly yoga membership?

Wix, Squarespace and WordPress.com have it built in. It takes another tool or a workaround on Zarla (no monthly billing; embed your studio software); GoDaddy (no recurring billing in its help; another company's checkout). We read each on the builder's own pages on October 12, 2026.

How much does a yoga studio website cost?

Building and previewing one can cost nothing on most builders; a live site on your own domain costs money on every builder here. Wix: Core, the cheapest plan with bookings, is $29/mo billed yearly. Light is $17/mo without bookings, and there's a free plan on a wixsite.com address. GoDaddy: Websites + Marketing plans are priced by country, and GoDaddy's page didn't show us a US price, so check it for yours. Squarespace: Basic is $19/mo and Core $29/mo, billed yearly, after a 14-day free trial. Online booking is a separate Acuity Scheduling subscription. WordPress.com: Personal is $4/mo billed yearly; form file uploads need Business, $25/mo billed yearly. Plugins can add their own cost. Zarla is free to build and preview, and you pay when you publish, on the Premium plan. Each price is the builder's own, read on its pricing or help pages (September 28, 2026); check it for your country before you buy.

Is Wix good for a yoga studio?

Yes: Wix placed first of five here, with 15 of 18 points. Of the tests that are particular to yoga studios, it gets a tick on "A class schedule students book from", "Unlimited monthly memberships, billed automatically" and "Workshops and retreats with tickets". The catch: bookings need the Core plan rather than the cheapest one, and pages for each town you serve are yours to write.
