GoDaddy's own help says the chat-based AI builder inside Websites + Marketing closed on July 31, 2026, and godaddy.com/websites/website-builder now sells Airo (GoDaddy's help article 42917 and its builder page, read 17 October 2026).
In GoDaddy's words, Airo "generates your website, web app, pages, databases and logic in minutes" from a few prompts, picks "fonts, colors, layouts, spacing, graphics, animations" from your business description, and updates the site when you describe a change. Publishing and a custom domain need a paid plan: GoDaddy's Starter plan is $9.99/mo billed annually with 150 AI credits a month, and GoDaddy's Professional plan, $24.99/mo billed annually, adds appointment bookings and payments, while the free plan builds and previews. You can download your code on GoDaddy's paid plans. Enquiries land in Airo Inbox and you can take payments and deposits; invoices come through QuickBooks or FreshBooks, and we found no quotes customers accept online.
